Tenuta Il Cicalino

Perfect place for smart working, relax and full immersion in nature and good food. We particularly appreciated a home made breakfast and its amazing scrambled eggs, the atmosphere and the room coziness. It is a hidden gem if you want to live the true Tuscan holiday experience, surrounded by the cypresses and the sweet Tuscan hills. Would definitely go back

Tenuta Il Cicalino is a great place for active, relaxing or mixed type of holiday. With a group of mountainbikers we were staying in an amaizing stone house Lame. A bit away from the main building it offered just enough privacy for the group but still all comfort we needed. A big bike storage (can be used also for other equipment) was precious. Not mentioning our private swimming pool out in a big green garden. The house is spacious and nicely decorated and has a big focus on sustainability. Breakfast in the restaurant was superb, so was the dinner. The stuff was nice, friendly and always willing to help. And there are great mountainbiking trails all around the property.

We had a wonderful stay, Location is just exceptionnal, view on the tuscan landscapes and on Massa Marittima is breathtaking. Whole location is very flowery, comodities are built in this tuscan style everybody dream of and are very clean. Food and service are definitely their highlights: the menu is quite small which is a good point, it means it’s really homemade and quite frankly, it was delicious! Special shot out to the « il coniglio », we had a blast enjoying this meal. You should definitely try the breakfast as you can not not find something that water your mouth and all products were oh so fresh. We had honestly one of the best holidays of our lives at Tenuta il Cicalino even thought we got quite unlucky with our car during our stay. We’d like to adress a huge ‘thank you!’ to the entire hotel staff, especially Gianna from the reception who helped us to communicate with the car repair shop. In general, absolutely everybody in the staff was so welcoming with our little family, from the waiters to the clearing ladies and even the gardeners and the housekeeper. We felt like home and they were all so professional and helpful. Only suggestion: please replace the door lock in Italia 3, something’s off with the key.

We have spent one week in this beautiful podere. It has everything you can think of-amazing accommodation, wonderful city Massa Maritima just 10 minutes drive and nearby sea-1/2 to hour drive. Surrounded by vineyards you will find yourself living in one of very nicely and gently reconstructed houses (I specificaly loved exposed construction details), which share the pool area. There is also range of possibilities in dining sphere that this podere offers. You can have breakfast, lunch and even dinner. The staff is extremely friendly offering you the best they can or helping you with anything you need (e.g. finding for our child pony riding). I would say better holiday than in this podere I cannot imagine and we will definetely visit it again!

Ottimo sotto ogni profilo. ! È già il secondo anno che vado e sicuramente ci tornerò l’anno prossimo. Ordine, pulizia. Personale gentilissimo. Educati. Ristorante super top! Abbiamo cenato la sera, e anche colazione provata una mattina, davvero super!!

Einfach ein traumhafter Urlaub. Sehr sauber, tolles Essen. Einfach toll. Tolle Lage. Toller Pool. Sehr freundlicher Service, aber sehr diskret und nicht aufdringlich dabei. Wir waren mit zwei Kinder dort und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt.
