Excellent stay. Fabulous food. Location was great .bed not so comfortable. Room45. Great staff .lovely village up from hotel. Which you must visit. We will be back perhaps arranging it ourselves and not a holiday company,as personally you are looked after better

Our expectations were exceeded. We had twin rooms even though we had requested single rooms. Good AC. Clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The food was good and varied. The pool was small but adequate and therefore the beds were close. It was not a problem at here were plenty to choose from. The local village was 2minutes walk and was delightful. Access to the courtesy bus was easy. Would recommend and age group was average 50+

We just had supper one night with friends of ours who stayed there but we fell in love with the hotel, the people and the food! We stayed in Sorrento and were disappointed that we didn't find this jewel! The meal was very good but the views, the location (Sant'Agata is an awesome little town) and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend.

I want to share with you our recent experience at Jaccarino Hotel (stayed July 2024), which has been our go-to vacation spot for the past 21 years. This was our 8th visit to the hotel, and I must say, it just keeps getting better. When my wife and I had our first holiday as a couple 21 years ago, we chose Jaccarino Hotel. Since then, we have returned incrementally over the years. Two years ago, for my 50th birthday, my wife surprised me with a trip to Lake Garda, thinking it would become our new favorite destination in Italy. However, upon returning to Jaccarino, we realized that it is the place we truly love, but with even more improvements. Let me highlight some of the enhancements we noticed: They now provide freely available water, which was not the case before. The previous management used to charge for it. A hot tub which we enjoyed every morning. Evening dining takes place on the hotel veranda with breathtaking views of Vesuvius, or by the hotel pool, weather permitting. There is a new area at the side/rear of the hotel where you can have drinks. Shower toiletries are now provided. Each room is equipped with a mini bar/fridge, which we used to store drinks we purchased in the village. Even the simplest things have been improved. Upon check-in, the staff now inform guests about the village and encourage them to visit. This has always been one of the main reasons we keep coming back. Speaking of the staff, I would like to give a special shout-out to Renato, Marco, and Erania (apologies for any misspelling). They went above and beyond to help me replace my broken watch strap. Breakfast offers the usual Italian fare, including cold cuts and fruit. However, I did make a suggestion to Renato during our stay. I mentioned that warm potato rostis with sausages may not be suitable for vegetarians. The next day, cold rostis were available, although not exactly what I meant. Nonetheless, it showed that the management listened to feedback. I cannot comment on dinner as we preferred to explore the village, but I appreciate the option to dine outside and enjoy the surroundings instead of being confined to the restaurant. My only criticism is the limited number of sunbeds around the pool. There is barely any space between them. However, I understand that this is a testament to the hotel's popularity. I would be more upset if I couldn't find a sunbed. In conclusion, the staff at Jaccarino Hotel is truly amazing. They are a far cry from the previous managers and staff, who seemed more interested in charging extra fees. I would like to give a shout-out to Aldo as well. To sum it up, we have been to Jaccarino 8 times, and without a doubt, we will be returning next year for my birthday. In fact, on our last day, as we sat on the balcony gazing at Vesuvius, my wife asked me if we should come back next year. I didn't hesitate and immediately paid the full balance to secure our reservation. Arrivederci,

Just home from a lovely stay at Hotel Jaccarino. If you are thinking of going I will try to give you my honest opinion. I messaged the hotel a few weeks before our visit to ask for an upgrade to a room with a balcony and sea view. Renato the manager came back to me and offered an attic room with a Juliet balcony. I am so glad we did as the view was to die for. I did pay extra for this but I would say if you can afford to try to do this. The balcony was cosy but was fine. Although the rooms are dated there is lots of storage space, wardrobes, draws a safe and mini fridge. Also bathrobes and slippers. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom and toiletries are lovely. The rooms are cleaned daily and clean towels and plenty of toilet rolls. The cleaning lady was lovely The hotel is spectacularly clean and the main communal areas are lovely but the rooms and room corridors are very dated. This doesn’t matter so much if you don’t spend a lot of time in your room but it might put some people off. There are also lots of stairs and lifts were old and slow The staff are lovely can’t fault their service but never really got to know their names sadly. It would be a suggestion for them to wear a name badge or introduce themselves We were half board - breakfast is buffet style and there is everything you could want. Coffee/tea and fresh orange juice is ordered via the staff who will also give you a menu for pancakes and omelettes etc. Evening meal is a set menu but has choices of starters mains and desserts. There was always a vegetarian, fish and meat dish. We also had a Neapolitan night with typical food from the region. My daughter and husband are quite fussy eaters on a few occasions they struggled but the staff were very helpful and offered alternatives. Really good quality food. The pool is a good size plenty of sun beds and no reserving of beds was seen! At the pool you ask the staff on duty for pool towels which are provided (good to know this) The little village of Sant Agata is worth a visit. Lots of little bars and restaurants and nice coffee and ice cream shops. We liked Bar Orlando (ask about the smoking cat). The best pistachio ice cream I’ve ever had! Ask the reception staff to show you the way. The hotel can also organise trips for you at reasonable rates My negative points The hotel offers a free mini bus into Sorrento but the times are a bit strange - also you must make sure you book seats in advance. There is a gap between 12 - 4 and the last bus back from Sorrento is 7.45 so difficult to spend an evening in town. The journey is about 20 mins depending on traffic. There is a public bus but we didn’t try it and taxis are very expensive. You don’t pay for your drinks as you go. You order and sign for your drinks and get a bill at the end of your stay. No idea if the bill was correct or not so just had to pay. This bill will also include your tourist tax. Just be prepared! If you are looking for somewhere quiet aw

Our second stay at this hotel was even better than the first.We booked direct with the hotel and was easy as communication with Renato the manager was superb.Everything we requested was sorted and nothing was a problem.Every member of staff we came across was happy,pleasant,helpful and had a smile on their face.The rooms were a little old fashioned but charming and spotlessly clean and our room had an amazing view over the Bay Of Naples and Vesuvius.The breakfast was excellent and Marco in the restaraunt looked after things really well.The evening meals were very good.The hotel provides a mini bus down to Sorrento several times a day but can be a bit of a tight of a squeeze.The bus drops you very close to the train station which is very handy for going places.The pool area is great and had plenty of beds wjen we went in June.The public areas of the hotel are spotlessly clean and traditionally italian.The view from the terrace is breathtaking.Quite a few steps around the hotel but there are lifts.A lovely charming hotel that we cant wait to visit again
