Seaside Grand Hotel Residencia - Gran Lujo

Lovely stay at this super hotel, second stay this year but shorter this time. Staff outstanding as always with proper five star service. I had a standard room this time which was perfect, I like the fact that the WiFi is strong and there are smart TVs in the bedroom. Look forward to returning in 2025 (already booked)

A truly wonderful experience. Exceptional service and all of the staff were unfailingly kind and courteous. The restaurant was a delight with excellent choice and superb cooking. The pool area was was well maintained and the Wellness centre was well equipped with a magnificent salt water pool.

They got me with the refreshing towels on arrival at reception. We were led through to the garden area and given a drink, then came the afternoon tea and cake. This was within an hour of arrival! It just got better after that! The staff are excellent. Extremely polite and attentive. I hope fellow guests appreciate that and are polite in return. Special mention to Eros and Estelle. Give them a pay rise, they deserve it. Food is fabulous. Extremely fabulous.

Spent two wonderful weeks at this hotel as a return guest. The hotel is exceptional, service levels are very high, food away delicious each night and the pool lovely. I did aqua aerobics one day in the spa pool which was enjoyable but I mostly did nothing but relax.

Our first visit to the Grand and was most enjoyable. Excellent service from all staff, restaurants ,reception, poolside and housekeepers,,,,all very professional and attentive. Rooms are comfortable and classic in style. During our stay the vast majority of guests were a mature age group, even elderly in many cases with mostly German and British guests and a smattering of other nationalities. Breakfast was good and dinner top quality, dinner courses were small but tasty and well presented. Twice a week a buffet barbeque is available for dinner which we preferred as there were more options to try and delicious desserts a plenty! We particularly liked the tranquil peaceful vibe around the place helped by a no mobile phone policy in the main restaurant, pool area etc which was mostly observed and respected by vast majority of guests apart from the odd entitled pompous individuals who felt the rules didn't apply to them and they could do whatever they wanted. We did witness on a few occasions rude and entitled behaviour from several guests toward the service staff at the hotel, many guests that stay here are clearly well heeled and wealthy but act with a lack of respect and some showed little courtesy toward the people that were trying so hard to look after them,I found quite a few guests to be aloof and delusions of grandeur sprang to mind. Overall a great choice for luxury stay in Gran Canaria, highly recommended.

Still as good as first visit. Ideal location for autumn/winter sun, staff first class. If restaurant was open to the public it would have a Michelin Star......pastry chef a genious (if it is on the menu have the banana sweet...can't rember what it was called but my title would be 'Banana but not as you know it') Hopefully UK Chancellor allowing we will be back in the spring
