We arrived with our rental car and got a parking spot right outside the gate, which we also got the other times we had been out driving. Once inside, we were warmly greeted and shown to our bungalow, which was absolutely perfect. It was spacious and there was most of what could be needed, the rooms were just the right size, a real fridge with a freezer compartment, air conditioning was in the bedroom, which was also enough to cool the entire bungalow. The staff who worked in the area were very nice and had a really good reception. They really did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The pool area is large enough for the number of guests that were there and it has a nice and intimate atmosphere, a fairly large pool of about 15 meters and sunbeds around it and the bar is adjacent to the pool. The area itself is not large, but basically consists only of bungalows, pool, bar and restaurant and I estimate it to be about 100x40 meters. The average age of the guests was 50+ with some occasional exceptions. Outside the area, which is delimited by a fence against visibility, there is really nothing but other houses and hotels and it takes about 40 minutes to walk down to Maspalomas beach and the promenade. There is a shuttle bus that takes about 10 minutes both to Maspalomas and Playa del Inglés a few times a day outside the gate and returns later on afternoon. Taxis were cheap and there were basically everywhere. From Maspalomas beach it cost 4.5 Euros. We are a couple who like to go on various excursions and attractions, which means that we usually go as soon as we can in the morning and then we spend a few hours on the beach and by the pool in the afternoon and for us the breakfast opened at the latest (09 :00). Partly the first transfer bus left at 09:30 and breakfast became very stressful if you were to make it and partly we didn't get off on our own excursions as early as we wanted. Luckily, they usually opened 5 minutes before, which was valuable for us to catch the bus. Next time, we will unfortunately probably skip the breakfast, which is otherwise perfectly adequate and tasty. Each night there were a couple of different options for dinner that had to be pre-booked but for various reasons we never ate here. Is there anything to improve? Yes, and a few simple things had given Magnolia a full pot. - A broom so you could have swept the floors clean of sand that inevitably comes in, there was a small hand brush but it didn't go far. - A small microwave in the kitchen - A shower curtain so the floor in the bathroom doesn't get so wet - Earlier opening for breakfast, 30 minutes would have been enough to create a margin for the bus and for us who drive on daily excursions. - I know that this is a difficult question, but the sunbeds were blocked for several hours by people who were not there, the towels were there but no one was seen, which led to the fact that at some point we had to share and lie in separate places.
