Homewood Suites by Hilton St. Louis Riverport-Airport West

They have nice and very spacious room and close to the airport. Mariah at the reception was amazing, very kind and ready to help. Breakfast is good and they have a good parking lot for the cars. The ****** and Amphitheater are pretty close, very good to go back walking to the hotel after a concert.

I enjoyed being a guest but treated more like a family member by friendly staff. They took time to learn and greet guest by their name. They also personalized services to meet any need. As an elderly guest with mobility issues. I was offered friendly assistance by any member of this Hilton staff.

Not easy to even find the front door. And it does not get better after that. We are Hilton Diamond members and this was way below par. Employees were bad, indifferent, and not friendly. Room smelled and was very humid. One of the a/c units would not even work. Everything is dingy and old. In serious need of an upgrade. Room just looked dirty. Bed mattress was excellent. That is the only positive. Breakfast was disgusting. Just skip it. Curdled milk, cold biscuits and gravy, cold eggs and sausage. Employees once again just ignoring everything to look at their phones. Coffee was good! Close to concert, you can walk there, but no sidewalks to be found. Hard to believe but not a single sidewalk around so people can walk to concert. Not fault of hotel, but be aware you will need to cut across 4 lanes of traffic, and walk across private parking lots. Hotel should at least request a crosswalk in front of their hotel.

Do not book this hotel. It is dirty, the breakfast is terrible and the hotel is not secure. Everything in our room was dirty when we arrived. The pull out couch had food crumbs folded into the mattress, the glasses the cabinet had left over food/lip marks, the sheet on the bed had dirt on them and the floor left our feet black. The outside door by our room did not shut so anyone could walk in at anytime making the building not secure. Overall it was a dirty and gross hotel. My family is not hotel snobs by any means but we do have an expectation of clean and safe and this hotel did not meet either of these.

This is maybe the worst hotel I have stayed in. The smell is awful, the hotel is dirty, and there was no coffee maker nor hairdryer in my room. The workers were very pleasant and helpful. It’s the physical structure that is well beyond what should be offered as a hotel.

Wow, horrible and no solution stay. The shower accessible handicap room was the room furthest away from the lobby. Unable to walk that far for breakfast! No solution was offered. ask for a refund and was told only manager could do that and she didn't have a way to reach her since she was new. Fold down shower chair was filthy and had blacck mold. Carpet was filthy in room, no bed skirt so had to look at stained mattress, Our door was next to exit door and the exit door was very very loud and slammed shut 24/7. neither room phone worked. Outdoor porch light was burned out, no signage at entrances to know what room number were at exits, no information books to share about the area food etc.

Considering this is a Hilton Hotel, we thought we would be staying somewhere nice. Instead, there were stains all over the carpeted hallway and the walls had scrapes and scratches. Our door looked like someone had broke in and the couch was falling apart. The bed was comfortable, but very short. I’m 5’7 and my feet hung over the end approximately 4 inches. It was definitely not worth the money.

The furniture in the room was terrible no towels in the room carpet was awful. I was told that someone would take the chair out because it was so dirty it never happened. Mangers offered no solution just awful.

After a lengthy wait in line to check into this hotel we were given keys and directed to a room that was already occupied! It was room 334. We were fortunate that the occupants of the room had placed the metal door lock in place so that the key, which did open the door would not allow the room to be entered. My husband and I both have mobility issues so my son returned to the front desk to obtain another room. After a 20 minute wait my son returned and we walked a long distance down a dirty hallway to room 306. This room was not occupied, but lacked towels and bedding for the pullout sofa bed. Because a continual busy signal was the only response from calling the front desk or housekeeping my son and I journeyed to the front desk. After another 15 to 20 minute wait the same young woman used a small handheld communication device to contact Housekeeping as the phones wouldn’t work. The receptionist, who was wearing a dirty blue sweater, told us that no towels were available until 10 the next morning. After waiting about 10 minutes a pleasant young woman from Housekeeping arrived with the bedding. My son inquired about the availability of towels and she replied they were available. She gave my son towels after a short wait. We proceeded to get ready and go to bed. Our comforter had a soiled spot and the original sofa bed mattress pad had black hair on the surface. My son is blond so it was not his hair. My son was not able to sleep due to the air conditioning not functioning in his area of the suite. It was an unseasonably hot day and night. The hallways and elevator were excessively hot and had very filthy stained carpets. My son said another sleep impediment was the constant noise and activity all night outside the door to our suite. Our bedroom was quite chilly so there are deficits in the air conditioning systems. Breakfast was a bright spot of this dismal stay. The bacon, coffee, hard boiled and scrambled eggs were tasty. When checking out of the hotel this information was provided to the receptionist. Also noted was the lack of acknowledgement of my Hilton Honors membership or asking how our stay went. I asked for at least partial compensation for the room and supplied my phone number. No one contacted me so this afternoon I reached out to them. They hung up on me once I explained the purpose of my call.
