Cara Motel

Older style motel opposite the General Hospital, expected noise but did not hear any. Place is comfortable without being great. Q bed & 1 single. $170pn which we thought a bit exie for what we experienced Signs of wear & tear, cleaners try hard in working with what they have been given. The strangest thing though was no plates or extra cutlery. Only cups, saucers & teaspoons. But there was a toaster??? Actually noticing this a lot of late and without a toaster, are smoke alarms becoming the culprit which then may necitate a fire brigade callout? Usually stay elsewhere while in Maryborough but was booked out, so going on TA review's we opted for Cara. But will not return.

A well kept motel with friendly staff, we stayed here before when travelling north and travelling back. It's not noisey and back from the road, you feel very comfortable in this motel. It's only a short drive into the main town where there is an RSL and hotels for meals. The motel is situated maybe 5 minutes from the M1 so it's conveniently positioned when travelling.

The room was absolutely clean and comfortable. The little details made the stay spot on. From complementary minties. Perfect position for anyone that needs easy access to the Maryborough Hospital. recommend.
