Great location, room was small but we knew that from previous reviews, small bit disappointed no view of port,but the roof made up for that, metro very close aswell,plus the hop on off tour bus, would recommend staying in this hotel, staff very friendly

Excellent location, the view from the rooftop bar is amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and rooms were clean with modern furniture. You also get a view of the port from your room which is great. The only thing we missed was Wi-Fi but it was not an issue.

We had a really pleasant stay, everyone was nice and friendly (especially Monicq who was able to help us out). The location was great and the rooms as well. It was very central with many bars and restaurants nearby. Also, the rooftop bar was amazing! Overall the Hotel Hermes made our trip to Marseille even better 😊

Very good location, amazing staff. Not the biggest room, but very clean and comfortable, don't spend to much time in your room in this beautiful city anyway. Perfect. Will definitely stay there again.

Marseille can be an unpredictable city. I work in tourism, and I tend to compare it to Naples in Italy when I talk to clients. Finding an affordable amazing hotel in Marseille is not always an easy task. This hotel though is that perfect place that will have you coming back time and time again whether you are a tourist or in Marseille on business. I wholeheartedly recommend it! First off, you cannot beat the location. The main thing that anybody has to see in Marseille is the Vieux Port. If you go there and you don't see it, there is NO POINT! It is magnificent! You cannot get any closer to the Vieux Port than this hotel. You also have the boat that takes you to the Calanques and the ferry to l'estaque, right next to it. You also have a plethora of restaurants. The hotel is not far from Napoli Gang, the Big Mamma to go restaurant in Marseille. Secondly, the staff is absolutely fabulous! They could not be nicer and more professional! Thirdly, THEY HAVE A ROOFTOP TERRACE! WHERE IN FRANCE, ARE YOU GOING TO FIND A HOTEL THAT IS AFFORDABLE WITH A ROOFTOP TERRACE OVERLOOKING A MAJOR MONUMENT AND THE PORT?! When I arrive late,my favorite thing to do is to go either to Pizza Capri in the Vieux Port or Napoli Gang, get a pizza to go and eat it on the ROOFTOP terrace surrounded by beauty and the scent of thd ocean. Nothing like it! This hotel has made so many of my trips to Marseille and I'm writing this review so it will make yours. Get this hotel! You won't regret it!

A very basic but clean room. The location and rooftop terrace is what sells this hotel. We went for a girls night and it was perfect. The staff were very friendly and all spoke perfect English. I would say that this hotel is perfect for a visit to Marseille. It is a place to lay your head. I will go back because I loved the terrace.

Accueil chaleureux et bienveillant. Chambre single propre, climatisée et bien équipée. Ascenseur. Petit déjeuner buffet avec yaourts fait maison et oranges à presser j’ai adoré. Emplacement idéal, toutes commodités à proximité. J’espère pouvoir revenir et je recommande à 200%.

Chambre minuscule (aux normes ?) avec le lit coincé entre 2 murs, pas de tables de chevet, pas de passage pour accéder. Pas de place pour ouvrir la valise à part sur le lit. Salle de douche moyenne avec joints jaunes dans la douche, cuvette WC non adaptée et poubelle sans pédale. Accueil, petit-déjeuner et terrasse agréables

Fantástica. No puedo decir nada malo. A destacar la amabilidad de todo el personal que allí trabaja. Serviciales, atentos ... un 10. El desayuno es completo y correcto. Dulces caseros, fiambre, quesos, huevos duros. Café, leche, Infusiones, yogures caseros, mermeladas, frutas ... La habitación es pequeña, pero suficiente. A destacar la comodidad de la cama y la almohada. El baño, correcto. El hotel dispone de una terraza en la azotea donde está permitida la entrada a gente de la calle. Sirven bebidas y un poco de picoteo. Nos dejaron subir pizza para cenar en la azotea y fue de mucho agradecer ya que al día siguiente madrugábamos porque competíamos en la travesía Monte Cristo. En general, un hotel que SI recomendaría para la estancia en Marsella. Gracias a todo el personal por vuestra hospitalidad.
