Riad Harak was a wonderful place to stay, on arrival we were greeted by Mustafa a couple of streets away from the Riad, he took our cases for us then ensured that we has some nice cool water when we entered the Riad. He said they were just making up our room, I advised that we had asked some months before that it was 2 separate bed , this did cause a bit of a fuss but after 1 hr they did manage this for us. We used that time to speak to Mustafa about what we wanted to do. We advised we had a hot air balloon trip booked for the Saturday but would like a guide for 3-4 hours round the city and a trip to Essaouira and could he please get us prices. He found us a wonderful guide for the next day but the trip to Essaouira never happened, we asked on several occasion for a price but he never came back to us, we eventually told him to forget the request. After we has unpacked and showered we asked about a meal, I asked if we eat there, he replied no a local restaurant which he walked us to, it was not a good restaurant, tables were dirty and the food was edible but very very bland! I'm surprised to read other reviews stated that they had lovely meal in the riad every night ? We were certainly not offered an escort service to restaurants at night which would have been helpful as navigating the wee side roads is difficult and we did fall to a ' helpful stranger' a young boy who said ' road closed' then showed us the way to our restaurant then started to shout at us that 20 dirham was not enough for a ' tip' we were concerned about walking home but the restaurant provided us with an escort. We also didn't fall for the ' road closed ' again despite many people trying it. We also encountered a young man trying to show us the way back to our riad despite us say no we know where we are going, he then proceeded to give us a sob story about University costs, we ignored this. The breakfasts were good but microwaved which was fine, good coffee and good orange juice. The riad is lovely, the beds were comfy , the roof terrace was a lovely space to relax in and have a beer, however make sure you record how many beers you have we feel that we may have been over charged but not sure so we didn't say anything. I has also asked Mustafa for super glue, if he could purchase some on my behalf ( obviously id pay) as I had no idea where to buy such an item, he said that was no problem , but it never happened. Im not sure if he didn't understand our Scottish accents? Also you need to pay the riad in cash so make sure you get the bill before you are due to be picked up On leaving there was a young with Mustafa who took our cases up to where the taxi was, we assumed he was the taxi driver. he wasn't. On putting our cases into the taxi he started mouthing of about giving Mustafa a tip, i informed him we had tipped the R
