Riad de La Semaine

The staff were so helpful and friendly. From my many emailed questions before we arrived, to organising transfers to and from the airport, to reserving a restaurant for me, to booking massages, nothing was too much to ask- great sense of humour too!! I asked for breakfast as we arrived very early (before 9am) this was no problem either and then our luggage was stored until we could check in. The location is excellent, just off the main square and all the souks but so peaceful on the roof terrace when having breakfast. The beds were super comfy, the room a good size and it was a wonderful Riad to stay in and use as our base for our stay. I highly recommend it and would not hesitate to go back.

First off, the people who work here are the nicest people i met in Morocco. They were very accommodating and welcoming and it was clear that they wanted to make my stay pleasant. Aside from that, I'm very glad I chose this riad. It's about a 3-minute walk from the square, which is close enough but not too close, as it gets very hectic and noisy, especially in the evening and at night. This riad was far enough away that it wasn't disruptive while at the hotel. The staff provided a delicious breakfast on the rooftop patio every morning and one night they even offered me a free dinner, which could've fed a family. I felt bad not finishing it, but I was truly stuffed! The rooms are a bit plain and on the smaller side, but it wasn't really a problem for me. The rooms have a safe and there's a shared refrigerator.

My husband and I along with our 8 month old had the privilege of staying here for our first 3 nights in Morocco--I could not have asked for a more welcoming intro to our vacation here. It's in the perfect location--super close walking distance to most all popular attractions but tucked in enough to offer a quiet place to sleep. We felt so comfortable and safe. Everything was so impeccably clean. Breakfast was a great start to our day served on the upstairs terrace. The staff--amazing! Everyone was so genuinely friendly. Moha was so helpful, Latifa was an absolute delight! I hate to use this phrase butttt they really did treat us like family. I love how they loved our little guy ❤️

Summary: Awesome staff, clean place, delicious breakfast, a beautiful riad at the center of Marrakech! Location: Near to all the landmarks like the Souks, the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia, etc. The riad is near the small shops where you can buy necessities like bottled water, near the bus stops, near the restaurants, etc. If I get tired from all the walking, I would just go back to the riad and take a nap. After that, I would just go out again to roam around. Staff: The best! The two lodies who clean and cook, and the two Mohas are fantastic people. I felt so welcome and taken good care of. They always helped me out and ask how's my day and always let me know if I need anything. They are very helpful and sweet too. Even before I arrived, I was asking questions and they always give me helpful tips. Breakfast: Plenty! My fave would be the traditional pancakes. Sometimes there would be new moroccan delicacies and it was nice to taste new flavors. Really good breakfast! Room/Riad: Big and spacious! And they really keep it clean. I would always get new towels everyday. Beds are comfortable too. The riad overall is clean. Shampoo and body wash are provided. They have a terrace too where you can take your breakfast or just chill. I really loved my stay here. For sure, when I travel to Marrakech again I would stay here. Such a great Riad. All of the rooms were well furnished and comfortable. The staff were amazing and very friendly. Breakfast in the morning was always a treat up on the terrace. The Riad is set in a peaceful lane just off the Medina and close to the wonderful Souks. If you are looking for a quite, safe Riad in the heart of Marrakesh then this is the one to go for. Highly recommend 😁

Riad Soufaine's welcome and helpfulness was the best we've experienced travelling. - we left feeling like one of the family. Latifa - wonderful cook with a beautiful heart. ♥️💐 The location was perfect. The Riad was beautiful. The WiFi & Air con was perfect. 👍 Breakfast was true Moroccan style and gorgeous ♥️ The Riad felt safe and secure ⛑️ I found the beds a bit hard so I layered some blankets underneath. The Riad is beautiful yet you can hear everything from neighbouring rooms i.e going to the toilet etc . The bathroom could have done with some hooks or rail to hang damp/wet/sweaty clothes as there was no private window/balcony. Still 10/10 due to the hosts and general experience 🏆
