Equity Point Marrakech

My recent stay at Equity Point Hostel in Marrakesh was extremely disappointing. From the moment of arrival, the reception staff was rude and unprofessional. Despite booking for multiple guests, we were only provided with one key room and locker, with additional charges for extra keys. The condition of the facilities was appalling, with pillows that were torn, stained with blood and mold, and with pillowcases that only fitted half of the stained pillows. Towels for both the floor and face had to be paid for separately, and on my second night, all the covers were removed from my bed for no reason. Once asked for one, they gave me one with stains of blood. The only redeeming aspect was the food, with decent breakfast options and satisfactory dinner offerings. However, this does not justify the numerous issues encountered during my stay. Overall, I cannot recommend Equity Point Hostel to anyone. It's simply not worth the money or the patience required to endure such substandard treatment.

Wow! What a spot. The perfect sanctuary to come back to after exploring the city. It's remarkably recuperative, cooling, calming and peaceful. You would never know that you're in the heart of the medina, so close to the souks. I didn't even hear the call to prayer either! The highlight has to be the pool, open to the skies, completed with sunloungers and overlooked by two floors of bedrooms. There are plenty of other spots to relax too including the roof. Everywhere is spick and span and the staff are very helpful. At just £52 for a twin room this is an extraordinary bargain. Ah, the rooms. That's where the hostel slightly lets itself down and the main reason I'm not giving it the full five stars. We slept on the bottom of two bunk beds pushed together. Dominating the room, the top bunks are adorned with drapes in the style of a four-poster. The bunks must date back to when rooms accommodated four people and the hostel presumably doesn't want to get single beds. Breakfasts are convenient and good value at £3 but pretty plain. The other drawback (although not significant) is finding the hostel. It's tucked away down an unsigned, almost concealed passageway about 100m long. Don't panic, though: the maps.me app, as recommended by the hostel, will get you there.

Don’t think twice about staying here you will love every single moment!!! My friend and I booked a private room here for two nights and we fell in love, not only with the character of this 300 year old castle but the beautiful staff members who make you feel like family. Despite arriving in the dead of night we were still given an amazing tour by the best guy you could ever meet TARUK !!! TARUK is awesome, kind and knowledgeable. Smart and funny and every so caring. Everyone was helpful including Job, and Medhji bit TARUK was stand out for me and my friend. We were able to safely leave our luggage when we went on our desert tour and that level of trust you can’t find everywhere We met so many travellers on this stay, and this made our trip complete Would stay here again only if TARUK still works here! Please note we did not try the shared dorms

Although it is slightly tricky to find, as soon as we arrived we were made to feel incredibly welcome by the warm staff. We felt very safe there and was so impressed by the facilities of the place. The design and architecture is beautiful with a authentic Moroccan style. Fatima and Tariq where especially helpful to us in recommendations in what to do and where to eat. The pool was the favourite feature of ours which was the perfect place to relax in the heat of the day. I am very surprised this place does not have a 10/10 score. Overall a very very pleasant experience.

J'ai adoré mon expérience dans cet hostel. L'espace est grand, il y a un super rooftop avec vu sur le coucher et lever du soleil. Une piscine assez grande. Ce que j'ai préféré, c'est le personnel, très aidant, sympatique. J'etais dans une chambre et le service de ménage au top. La reception 24h sur 24 est très pratique aussi. Il y a aussi couscous un chat adorable. Bref, je recommande vivement!

Ne pas payer d avance , car vous avez des surprises , je ne recommade pas cet hostel ,ila climatisation ne marche pas ,les couvertiures ne sont pas propres il manque beaucoup d accessoires,le petit dejeuner est trop cher par rapport ce qu il propose ,
