Riad Ines Home

This Riyad was just amazing. We got an amazing soft welcoming by the people working there. We didn’t feel like we entered a hotel or a home stay or anything like that, we felt like we were welcomed home. The room was nice and clean. We sadly missed the breakfast because we didn’t wake up on time since we were feeling so comfy in the amazing and comfy bed. We had a soft person coming to wake us up, but not to check out like usual, it was for the massage that we asked for. I highly recommend having an oil massage there, it was really relaxing. Overall, the experience was just so nice!

This was a disappointing hotel to stay at. My friend and I paid a lot to stay at this Riad in October and we stayed for four nights but I wish we had left after the first night and gone somewhere else. The first issue was that the shower was broken in my room and when I spoke to the staff they said they knew but wouldn't fix it whilst I was there so I had to shower in my friends room every day. There was a plug socket that was loose from the wall and the wires could be seen. My friend and I booked two rooms which were supposed to be 'deluxe' rooms and they were extremely different with one which could be described as deluxe and the other not by any means when we were paying the same and looks like it was their smallest room on their website. Furthermore, on one occasion we came back after a day trip and the room smelled of smoke. There is more I could say but unfortunately it was a disappointing stay, not worth the money we paid and I wouldn't recommend it.

Its a really nice riad in the center of the city But what made my stay even better is Jawad! He is the best host and made me feel really comfortable and extended his support in anything I needed. From tending to my needs to carrying my bags with me to even his mannerism and smiling!

We booked 4 nights at Riad Ines Home, as part of a flight & hotel package with Opodo. We were really looking forward to our Marrakech trip, as it was originally planned for Easter 2020, but due to the COVID pandemic it was cancelled and it took us 3 years until we were able to rebook it. A few weeks before our flight, I contacted Riad Ines Home via email, to check that they had our room booking (weirdly I never do that when I book packages online, we just show up on the day, but I had a weird premonition…) and I got the response that there was no availability for those dates. I kept insisting with emails, but received no reply, and had to resort to sending messages via Whatsapp to the phone numbers listed on their website, hoping for a response. The manager, Houda, eventually responded via Whatsapp that there was an issue with a double-booking for the first 2 nights, but that she would find an alternative solution for us, and that we shouldn’t worry, and should not cancel our trip. She indeed delivered, and booked us at a neighbouring Riad for the first 2 nights (Riad Les Trois Palmiers El Bacha, see review in my profile), which was just 10 meters away from Riad Ines Home, at no extra cost. We then moved to Riad Ines Home for our last 2 nights. The Riad is quite small (we had booked it on purpose, as we wanted a more cosy and quiet experience) and has only 5 rooms set around a beautiful central courtyard with a small ornamental pool and beautiful plants. We stayed in the Bab Jdid room, on the first floor, and really enjoyed the room and the stay. The king size bed and pillows were excellent, and the window shutters guaranteed absolute darkness and a very peaceful sleep. The Riad is also far away from mosques, so the call for prayer did not wake us up at night, it was so nice and quiet. The room also has a fireplace (which I can imagine must be amazing turned on in the winter!), as well as a beautiful traditional bathtub. There is a roof terrace with chairs and tables, where you can chill out, and the staff were all very nice and friendly. The breakfast was OK, but was quite simple, local breads (sweet and savoury), butter, jam (prepacked, not fresh), orange juice, black coffee or Moroccan tea. We would have liked to see some fresh fruit (especially as there were beautiful strawberries in season and for sale in the market) and maybe plain yogurt or some eggs. On our first morning we actually asked if they could make us an omelette or fried eggs, and they said they didn’t have any, but they brought us two small fruit yogurts instead. On the second morning we were very pleasantly surprised when the staff brought us an omelette, we understood this is not something they usually offer, and they had gone the extra mile (since we had asked for eggs the previous morning), another example of how sweet they are! The Riad is located near the nicest (poshest?) street of the Medina, where all the boutiques and high-end shops are, along with Dar El Bacha,

We booked this Riad in the heart of Medina from 06/09 to 11/09. The place was clean and the atmosphere extremely peaceful. When we arrived, Farid was kindly welcoming us. He showed us around the place, then he sit up with us, served their typical Mint Tea (with some delicious cake) and explained everything we need to know about the area and the services provided by the Riad. He was extremely helpful and friendly, anything we needed he was there to help. The Hotel is providing services like Hamam, massages, transport to airport and day(s) tour around Marocco. The others two ladies working mainly in the kitchen and as a housekeeping were very nice, despite the fact that they weren't speak English. Medina Market is very busy and noisy, but when we came back to our Riad we always felt at HOME. Since the first day Farid was welcoming us telling "MY HOME IS YOUR HOME" and this is exactly how we felt.

Riad proche des souks dans les ruelles étroites et bucolique de Marrakech. Très bon accueil à 21h00 avec thé de bienvenue et le service de notre dîner. Tous les repas servi étaient excellent ainsi que les petits déjeuner. Le personnel très serviable et notamment le jeune homme qui anticipait mon café le matin avant l'heure du pdj. Merci. Chambre confortable et propre...attention à La paume de douche antartré ainsi que la robinetterie, Ampoule non changée...cela ne nous a pas empêcher de bien dormir ( à part la prière à la 1ère heure du matin ) mais cela fait partie du jeu et nous avons pleinement profiter de notre séjour à Marrakech.

Nous avons séjourné 4 jours dans ce riad. Un très bel accueil avec un thé à la menthe et gâteaux secs. La première visite du lieu nous a ravi : très joli patio avec bassin, décoration simple mais soignée et de bon goût. En revanche dans les chambres quelques détails moins agréables : prises débranchées, colonne de douche cassée, chauffage de salle de bain qui ne fontionne pas (on est en hiver) etc... D'autres "details" gênants : nous avons demandé un hammam, sur place, puisque la propriétaire nous a dissuadé de le faire à l'exterieur, vantant la qualité et les services de la prestation sur place (400dh par personne pour 1h00 avec soin hydratant, thé et patisserie après le hammam et le gommage...) Au final, la prestation a duré 50 minutes, pour 2 personnes, entassées dans la pièce trop petite pour 2 et... Et c'est tout ! Rien d'autre ! Pour finir, la personne qui s'en est occupé faisait ça pour la première fois et était plus que stressée. Vraiment décevant. Quant au massage, fait également sur place, n'a lui pas déçu, si ce n'est que dans une pièce fermée par un simple rideau et quasiment sans chauffage il fait un peu froid ! Dernier détail : l'huile a brûler (parfum d'ambiance Natus) vendue sur place, annoncée 120dh 2 jours avant notre départ nous a été facturée 150dh le jour du départ (cette huile coûte 90dh en boutique au Gueliz). Une légère amertume au moment du depart... Dommage dans un si beau pays !

Tout est parfait sauf la maîtresse des lieux!!! A cause d'elle et uniquement d elle je n attribué qu'une étoile. Arrêtez de donner de l'argent à cette dame méprisante et qui traite son personnel audieusement.

Superbe séjour au riad dans un cadre magnifique. Merci à toute l'équipe si gentille et attentive, petits déj. et dîners délicieux, accueil chaleureux, décoration typique avec goût. Idéalement situé dans la médina, au calme. Je recommande. 🙏
