Riad Dar Justo Hotel Boutique & Spa

I visited Dar Justo on November 20, 2024, and unfortunately, my experience was marred by significant issues that I feel compelled to share to warn other tourists. During my dinner, a payment problem occurred. Despite the amount being deducted from my account (proof attached), the restaurant’s card machine indicated an error. The owner admits that their card machine was broken and that this has happened to other guests in the past. This raises the question: Why hasn’t the restaurant done anything to prevent this situation if they knew their card machines are faulty? Instead of handling the situation professionally, I was detained at the restaurant and compelled to make a second payment, with the expectation that I would resolve the refund myself—a burdensome task for a tourist in a foreign country. I felt as if I was being blamed for the restaurant’s faults and even felt scammed. Despite providing proof of payment days ago, I was accused of not paying. The management’s response was unprofessional, shifting the blame onto me rather than addressing their own technical issues. This regrettable experience stands in stark contrast to the warm hospitality I’ve enjoyed elsewhere in Marrakech. If you’re willing to be blamed for a restaurant’s faults and waste valuable holiday time, this place might offer that unfortunate experience. However, if you want to enjoy Marrakech’s hospitality and cuisine without hassle, I recommend avoiding this restaurant to prevent potential problems. Visitors are better off choosing other Moroccan restaurants like Ksar Essaoussan around the corner, or even any street food place on Jemaa el-Fnaa, which provide better customer service. I hope this feedback prompts the restaurant to improve their service for future guests.

I went in this hammam with a friend of mine for a hammam. It was super expensive but they were brutal, bad mannered, I catched a cold because they were leaving us there forever all wet: they had many customers together in different rooms I realized later so they couldn’t offer a proper service but they took the all fee. It was brutal, trust me. I had hammam the next day and it was not like this AT ALL!

Beautiful decor, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, great location, good restaurant with seating on the rooftop terrace, a library, plunge pool, an adjoining spa…this riad had everything we needed for a relaxing few days after our 3 night desert tour. I had a pedicure and an intense massage in the spa, both well worth the money. The restaurant food was tasty (evening meal & lunch); breakfast was fine but fairly basic, catering to a European market. I would definitely book there again.

Riad Dar Justo was an absolutely beautiful place to stay in Marrakech during our honeymoon. It is located close to many attractions in the medina, including Jemaa el-Fnaa. The riad has a central pool with three levels of rooms surrounding it with bougainvillea and other plants hanging down from the roof into the pool, which was a very magical aesthetic. There is also a rooftop terrace and restaurant with delicious breakfast and dinner. All of the staff were very nice and accommodating during our stay. We stayed in a Comfort Suite and it was well appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable few nights. Overall we would highly recommend Riad Dar Justo!

Great and super friendly staff, not one of our difficult questions was impossible. They arranged everything with a smile. The rooms are beautifull, the bathrooms are marvelous, location is perfect in the centre of the medina, almost next to Place des Epices. the roof top terrace was beautifull, the swimming pool small but beautifull, the hammam great! Thnx to all staff for our impressive experience with our group of 25 people. Our stay couldn't be better!

The property was exceptionally beautiful and exotic. Our suite was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The rooftop was a nice place to relax with a cocktail. Nawell at the front desk was exceedingly helpful. She arranged excursions for us, gave us good advice on places to visit, provided directions to maneuver the labyrinth of the Medina. She was helpful and very pleasant. She also answered many questions and made arrangements for us before we arrived.
