Riad Alma

We loved our stay at the Alma. Fabulous rooms (bright, comfortable and beautifully individually designed in modern Moroccan style), really good service, wonderful breakfasts (enjoy on the roof terrace or in the courtyard, depending on weather) and it’s very quiet at night. It’s located in the bottom corner of the kasbah, so slightly out of the busiest area although just a 5 min walk from the central mosque, 10 mins from the main square and 15 mins walk from the medina. But it actually works as it’s a quieter, more residential part of the kasbah. However once you walk outside the Derb (the little neighbourhood where it’s situated) you’re in the busy kasbah, with all the noise, bikes and chaos. Which is fun. So you get the best of both worlds - the noise and the oasis feeling of the riad. Service was very attentive, no issues at all. The hamam downstairs was a lovely experience - worth a try if you’ve never done it. The ambience is very chilled, very relaxed and felt homely. If you want a real riad experience, heartily recommended. You can pay more and get more luxury, but honestly not worth it.

My wife and I booked for our 35th Wedding Anniversary Trip to Morocco and chose the Riad Alma in Marrakesh as the place to stay for its charm and location close to the palace and it being in the Medina. Our booking was for 11 days and we were lucky to have Ahmed as the Ried Alma Manager and Concierge. The Riad is run as a hotel but you receive personal service of the highest quality. The amenities of the dining areas to choose from, the pool, the lounges from the first floor to the roof and its great views were well worth after a hot long day of excursions to the Atlas Mountains and to the seaport of Essaouira. The staff is wonderful from the meals served and the services offered such as the Hamman massage. But the Concierge services offered by Ahmed were invaluable for we had 6 excursions from Riad Alma and all claimed by email and text that they would be picking us up at our Riad and at the last minute they would change the pick up to a distant location! Ahmed, saved the situation by talking to each of the excursion company’s owners/managers/drivers to have them uphold their agreement to time and place of pickup and return. He is outstanding person and one of the best manager/concierge I have come across in all my years of travel. We loved our room and the staff was perfect in the meals and cleaning. We also appreciated the laundry services. So complete your stay and give Ahmed and his staff a try at the Riad Alma.

Fantastique séjour dans ce Riad. Moi et mes amies avons adorée l'emplacement, la décoration soignée, la literie est très confortable. L'acceuil et le service était parfait . Il n'y à rien à redire simplement nous le recommanderont à tous nos proches .

Bonjour Nous revenons tout juste de marrakech où nous avons passé un magnifique séjour au sein du Riad Alma en famille. Je souhaite avant tout remercier le personnel pour son accueil chaleureux, sa disponibilité et sa discrétion .. Le petit dej était très copieux, la déco extra, la piscine faisait plaisir en cette chaleur étouffante ! Le confort de la chambre et son luxe nous ont de suite mis dans une bulle très apaisante !! Je recommande vivement

Un magnifique Riad dans le centre de la médina, quartier Kasbah. Un petit bijou, auquel il faut attacher un personnel de grande valeur, toujours à l'écoute du client. Une restauration est possible en s'y prenant quelques heures à l'avance. Côté hôtel, une jolie déco mi coloniale mi orientale avec une décoration faite avec goût... Un endroit plein de charme qui offre au touriste de passage ce petit goût du luxe oriental dans lequel vivait les bâtisseurs de ces belles demeures dans des temps très anciens PAtrick JANTET

Excellent havre de paix dans la Medina. Prestations impeccables. Hygiene et proprete sont de rigueur a l'image de Samira qui dirige son equipe d'une main de fer . Disponibilite indedaignable pour ses convives et hotes ... Beaucoup de prestations type Hamam et massages a la demande et sur place . Excursions autour de Marrakech ... A ne pas negliger pour un depaysement authentique
