The riad is absolutely gorgeous! We are just back from a girls trip and we absolutely enjoyed our stay! When you walk in you are greeted with the amazing architecture! I’m here to set the bad reviews straight as we absolutely loved it. It was such an authentic experience. Sure, as the riad is old doors can be creaky and you may hear some noise but this is the same for old riads in Marrakech. The location is perfect, 4 min walk to Dardar, 5 min walk to the medina, 8 min walk toLe Jardin, 10 min walk to Ben Youssef and 12 min walk to El Badi. Everything was in perfect walking distance so we walked everywhere! You are also just right next to Nobu, and as soon as you walk out the alleyway, you are straight to some souls and shops if you feel like a late night shopping and it’s perfectly safe! My only regret is not trying the hammam and spa as we had a busy itinerary but overall cannot fault this riad. The rooftop is gorgeous for a morning coffee! The staff truly made our stay extra special. On my last day I was feeling unwell, I had drank too much coffee and suffered a panic attack, the staff really took good care of me and calmed me down. Our room was cleaned everyday to perfection by the housekeepers. I really want to thank the 2 guys at reception and the amazing housekeepers who really made our stay exceptional. Our shower pressure was okay with hot water, aircon was cool so I really do not understand the bad reviews! We would definitely go back!

Do not believe these positive feedbacks and comments! Staying at Riad Challa ist just annoying, disgusting and not human!!! Terrible service and disgusting hygiene! The bathroom/shower cabin does not work properly (look at the picture below)! We did not get any Bed covers and had to sleep in a cold room! Very impolite staff!!! Number 1 proof that these people here are scammers: They took the money in advance at the check- in, in a very unfriendly way! I assume they already know most of the people will not stay here long and therefore they want you to pay it in advance. The invoice you will get on your last day. Very shameful, shame on you Riad Challa!!! I hope for justice in this world and on the day of judgement! My general recommendation for all European Tourists who have europeean hygiene standards: Do not go to Riads in Marrakesch! Trust me, you don‘t need these old Riads to experience the culture in Marocco!

We stayed for a few days at this little jewel. We organised pick up via hotel & were taken right into the centre where our host met us & took us to the riad. Set only minutes away from the centre square in the medina location was perfect. Set around a small pool ( really nice- better than the pictures) rooms all looked down onto the pool. Rooms were clean, serviced daily & had tv , hairdryer, towels & lots of hot water etc. Some minor signs of age but absolutely clean. Our host Ferit was great- extremely friendly and helpful (sorry if I spelled it wrong). Breakfast was included and was a buffet- I'd heard mixed reviews but was delighted it was good. A choice off cold cheeses/ meats, pastries and some hot* food eg eggs , sausage, potatoes, pasta. There were also yogurts and occasionally fruit as well and coffee/ hot chocolate, fruit juice..* the hot food was warm / could be hotter.Overall great- open 7-10am. There is a spa in the Riad & it offers a lot of different types of massage etc- best experience of our trip- real treat! Ask about different excursions- the Riad can organise for you.

Hosts were very friendly and lovely. But hotel itself was dated and worn down.. Breakfast was disgusting, barely much food and most of it cold or inedible Wouldn't rush back.. only positive was pool area to be honest Shame as it has great potential

I recently stayed at Riad Challa in July and was deeply dissatisfied with my experience. Firstly, our booking included breakfast, but days before our arrival, we were informed that it was not included, and we had to pay 7 euros per person each day. This was misleading as all other Riads in Marrakech included breakfast. We also booked a taxi pick-up from the airport. Our flight arrived at 7:15 pm, but the driver did not arrive until much later, after we had to contact him. His aggressive behavior and the receptionist’s unprofessional demeanor made us very uncomfortable. The room was not as advertised – it had a strong odor, missing wardrobe knobs, and dirty bedsheets with holes. The overall condition was substandard. In the evenings, we wanted to use the pool, but it was dirty, and we were unexpectedly told it closed at 8 pm, information that was not provided during check-in. The breakfast was also a letdown. At 7:30 am, there was no juice, ants in the bread, cold sausages and eggs, and a malfunctioning coffee machine. Our departure was chaotic as the reception was empty and the front door was locked, leaving us unable to exit the hotel on time, causing us to miss our scheduled taxi. This has been one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I do not recommend Riad Challa.

We had a short stay at the Riad, but still enjoyed our time. The hosts (Ferit, Hafza and amine) are extremely nice, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was fine. The rooms were not that great, but overall the host made it a great stay. Unfortunately we had to cut or trip short.

We have bad experience with Riad ounce we arrive in the reception they trying to sold us some excursions what a shame not even giving us chance to get to the our room, then asking us if we need better room then what we booked they asking for much more money …:) we didn’t even ask them … ounce we enter finally to the room are not clean there some hair in our bed …

We reached the riad late night, they helped with sending us pick up to the railway station. At first the route to the riad was super scary as its a very narrow lane which you need to walk from the car. The driver was kind and helped us with the luggage. The staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was okay can be better in terms of taste, they can have nicer hot options and fruits maybe. Otherwise its moroccan breakfast with omlette, croissant, bread, butter jam juice or coffee and tea. We did not have time for the spa or massage. Bathroom shower was not great. Riad was looking nice. Maybe one recommendation is would be nice if they have bottle waters in the room as well. Overall good experience.

The riad was gorgeous! The staff was friendly, and the service was terrific. Everyone helped us and gave us tips and advice while roaming around Marrakech. The receptionist (Rokaya) hoped I spelt it correctly, she was accommodating, and her smile gave us positive vibes and made us comfortable. The Riad itself is a beau! They have a rooftop, and you can eat breakfast there starting at 07:30-11:00. They also have a pool where you can swim, and the water is warm. We came here the first week of January. Our room was comfortable, spacious and what we needed. The only thing that bothered us was the doorknob of our toilet 😅 there was always a problem whenever we used the bathroom. We always struggled to open it from the inside. Aside from that, everything was excellent! I would definitely recommend Riad Challa. It’s just near the square. 👏🏻
