REIS MARIS HOTEL

just back from 15 night stay at the Reis Maris hotel Marmaris we got a room on 1st floor back of the hotel there is no lift so if your on the 3rd floor you will struggle if you have walking problems, the room was small had one bedside table one small wardrobe with 2 broken hangers no cabinets with drawers to put your socks underwear shorts and tee shirts in had to live out the suitcase we had a 12" TV on wall which didnt work and a very old small fridge in room but it worked, the bathroom had a shower cubicle but the shower tray leaked water onto the bathroom floor the shower hose was detached from the wall and lay on the floor but we had hot water the air conditioning was good and it was free, the maid came in nearly everyday cleaned the room and left fresh towels, the breakfast was turkish not great but adequate no fruit last few days, the swimming pool has steps from the path outside so its open to anyone sunbeds old and poor and very dirty round the pool they dont clean the area i wudnt recommend this hotel to anyone i wud say its on par with a £15 a night B+B in blackpool very poor hotel,

Our room was lovely, air conditioned, and the maid came in regular to clean and with towels. The guys on reception were fantastic. The pool area was clean and relaxing to be round. No complaints. Hotel situated in middle off main strip in marmaris, the beach a stone throw away. We will be back again next year.....

Arrived late at night with a toddler and baby to find there was no place for them to sleep (we had booked cots) and the man was very rude to us about it! Was on the second floor with no lift, so had to carry prams up and down two flights of stairs every day. The rooms were horrible, nails sticking out of door frames, plug sockets hanging off the wall, punch holes in the bathroom door, smashed shower screens, tape over fire alarms and blood on bedding. Only positive is that the bar staff was lovely and the manager was apologetic about the cots. Wouldn’t ever return though.

On arrival was on the 4 floor .No lift so if you struggle with stairs definitely don't go . Room clean bathroom clean balcony on front all good . Big bed rock hard. Air con VERY noisy. . Was OK till next morning didn't go for breakfast had shower always cold until on the night if you get in first . Shower leaked all over floor behind toilet . Air conditioning unit didn't work after one day had to wait 2 days so suffed on the night been to warm excuse was waiting for a part .But got sorted . After 14 days stay was glad to be going home . I wouldn't book again but if you don't mind the stairs .cold shower no hot water only a certain time .it's cheap and central but noisy nxt to main road. And the pool was a welcome place to cool down

If i could give this place 0 Star i would, we booked this hotel for 2 nights with our 2 year old, we requested a cot prior to our arrival i was told this was confirmed, upon checking in we were given a room on the second floor to which we had to carry our cases up as there is no lift with our 2 year in arms as he had fallen asleep, on arrival to our room the cot was not in place but insead a single bed, the balcony door was open and traffic noise was loud i went to close this to find the door did not close securley or lock which travelling with a 2 year certainly wasnt ideal, the room was dirty the air conditioning was pityful and the unit looked old and not maintained, at further glances around the room there was dirty marks on the bedding, walls and floor. masking tape covering holes over the walls and worst of all was the whole bathroom ceiling covered in mold at this point after only 45 minutes in our room we checked out and found an alternaive accomodation. I have never seen a room so discusting and how travel companies can advertise this as a good place to stay is shocking. My advice Avoid!!!!!!!

We checked into our room, walked down the road and booked into another hotel. The room was dirty, paint chips all over the toilet and bathroom, a shower we would not want to stand in, air conditioning let out the tiniest most pointless bit of air. The balcony door didn't shut properly. Fridge was disgusting. Looking out from the balcony was the pool, it looked cloudy and the loungers had so many stains! I would not book here. It is definitely not a 3*
