Turaco Lodge - No Loadshedding

This was our first experience of a safari holiday and also our first time in South Africa we was very excited and couldn’t wait to start the holiday. The holiday turned out to be one of the best holidays we have ever had , thanks to the 5* treatment we received at Turaco Lodge. The lodge owner Marcel and his amazing team, Charnae, Dylan, Dirk, Terry and all the other great members of their team that made us so welcome. The food was excellent , the accommodation was excellent, we woke up to giraffes, impalas, cudus, warthogs plus many more animals (no predators) waiting to greet us outside our bedroom window in the morning, safaris and trips arranged by Turaco Lodge was engaging, informative and great fun we was lucky enough to see the big 5 amongst all the other beautiful animals, even a baby elephants less than a week old. We would definitely recommend Turaco lodge to anyone who would like a 5* holiday of a lifetime

We had a warm welcome by Chané and Dylan, who took care of the lodge during the absence of the owners. We had a 2 bedroom appartment and stayed there for 5 nights. It was very nice, clean and vey comfortable. Breakfast and dinner (made by Ernest and Yolanda) were excellent. Several wild animals visit the Lodge during the day and night and contribute to a great safari atmosphere! Safaritours to Kruger can be booked directly by the lodge and ranger Dirk gave us an unforgettable day in the Krugerpark! Hopefully some day, we’ll be back!

We were in Turaco Lodge 8 nights and we loved every minute! We had ordered nice package which included different kind of safari tours and other activities. They even managed to organized golf day for my husband and a massage for me, even we had really late request for them. Marcel was amazing host, Dirk was really expert safari guide and overall the whole Turaco Lodge team made our holiday perfect! We will go back as soon as possible.
