Grace of Africa, Couples 5 Star Nature Lodge

The service was exceptional from Nicolette taking my call to Isaac looking after us for 2 nights. We enjoyed the privacy, the weather was amazing, and Isaac kept us entertained when we engaged with him. we just struggled with the mosquitos, i think the bed could have had a netting but that didn't stop us from having fun.

Grace of Africa is a beautiful lodge and wonderful experience. I recommend anyone traveling to South Africa to stay there. You won't regret it. Lodge is beautiful and the food is wonderful. The staff was great and made sure that we were very well tended to.

After nine days at three different safari lodges/camps arranged by African Safari Guru Travel we arrived at The Grace of Africa Lodge. Attention to detail and top level service was immediately apparent. Accommodations were first rate and the meals prepared by the on staff Chef were truly amazing. This is a great place to setback and unwind from your travels in Kruger.

My family of 4 with kids aged 23 and 25 stayed at Grace of Africa for one night on route further into safari area. Warmly greeted by owners Nicolette and Matthew, introduced us to our butler Michael who took great care of us and any need we had. The accommodations were just stunning with great attention to detail to the decorating. The bathroom gorgeous! And the outdoor shower amazing! The pool was wonderful as it was a heat wave when we arrived , so immediately cooled off in that. The food was absolutely delicious! We loved the “mom and pop” and lamb, soooo good! So nice to try local food. We each had our own villa, patio, boma. Monkeys wandering around the property. We went for a guided bush walk with Wayne who is so knowledgeable, it was a real treat to hear his stories. We came upon a herd of elephants and Buffalo on our way to our “Sundowner”. What a sight! So peaceful and amazing to sit with a drink and look across the Crocodile River to view 2 of the Big 5! The evening brought a wicked lightening storm which was so exciting to sit outside and watch that, while sharing stories and laughs with Michael and Lawrence. Such wonderful people, in such a short time of being together, we felt we’ve known them a long time. So comfortable. It was hard to leave Michael in the morning. Such a gracious host. Wish we had more time at Grace of Africa. A gem in South Africa!

We had fantastic 4 days at Grace of Africa and would have liked to have stayed longer. It was a great experience that was made possible for us. We had booked the entire package including a safari. The accommodation is only 20 minutes from Kruger Park, provisions were provided for the safari and the tour was just right in length and time. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Large, clean and well furnished with a pool. The food was always delicious and lovingly prepared. We really had a wonderful time and really enjoyed it. A big thank you to Isaac, who always looked after us lovingly, to Matthew for all the organization and to the wonderful Nicolette for the great food! You can feel that the work there is done with a lot of love and heart!!

An amazing piece of Africa that ties in luxury living and African bush. A must for anyone wanting tranquility with the highest of hospitality standards. Each chalet has a piece of individual privacy with its own tailored theme. Close enough to the crocodile bridge for you lazy days in the Kruger. Superb
