Hotel I Ginepri

In the shoulder season, the seaside area where the hotel is located is beautifully quiet yet still warm ocean water. The hotel hosted our bike tour with secure garage for our bikes. Deluxe 2nd (US) floor room with large private balcony and hot tub overlooking ocean++++! High quality, quiet, facility, excellent room amenities, beach, bar, restaurant. The buffet breakfast served a VERY large selection of breakfast food greater than any European hotel I’ve stayed: eggs, bacon, fresh pastries, breads, rolls, toast, several flavors yogurt, beautiful fresh fruit salad, granola, sliced meats, cheese, chopped dried fruit, nuts, flax, chia, pumpkin seeds, bee pollen, jams, 4 types fruit juice, dry cereals… Of course an indoor as well as outdoor bar for expresso and alcoholic beverages plus an on-site gelateria. Beautiful pool, patio wit outdoor dining. Many restaurants, pizzerias next door. Excellent food for lunch and dinner - excellent chef. And the best staff - family-owned and managed for years with many long time staff who are utmost hospitality professionals. They also own an olive grove property in nearby hills which can be booked for private events. They catered a lunch for us which included meats grilled onsite in outdoor oven and other dishes and local wine as excellent as all other food we had during our stay.

It is rare to visit a locally-owned and operated hotel in Italy that successfully pleases me on an overall basis. Hotel i Ginepri is one. The entire facility is clean, safe and in very good condition. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to help you. For example, Liza, at reception was very kind is showing me around the facility and helped me when the electric car charger had issues. She always smiled and welcomed any request. The house cleaners actually clean the rooms in-depth each day (wow!). And the gardens are immaculate with nary a leaf on the ground (another wow!). Yes, my room was small with no view but I knew that when I booked it. I only slept in the room so a Monk's quarters was fine for me. The restaurant is excellent from breakfast to lunch to dinner. Giuseppe was our waiter most of the time. He, and all wait staff, aimed to please, were attentive and provided anything you wanted quickly. Giuseppe was my favorite because it was cherry season and he found cherries for me for breakfast with my yogurt (a third wow!). The pool is clean and inviting. I went to the beach which is private. Every morning the sand is cleaned and raked (a fourth wow!). There is a lifeguard. And all of the umbrellas, chairs and lounge chairs are in working order. Would I stay at Hotel i Ginepri again? Yes. Would I recommend it to other? Yes and choose the meal plan. It is worthwhile!

Era difficile migliorarsi dopo la scorsa estate. Invece, cibo ancora più buono, spiaggia ancora più pulita, personale ancora più accogliente. Veramente nulla da dire. Solo un grazie di cuore per averci fatto passare una settimana da sogno.
