Good service and clean room, big room and good view

What a lovely place to stay ! We went as two friends and were in an apartment that sleeps up to 4 . It was huge . A lovely lounge with a double pull out settee and a single bed in a cupboard. The bedroom was huge with 2 big wardrobes and a big bathroom with shower and bath . The room probably could do with a bit of upgrading but was fine for us . The kitchen had everything. Washing machine , dishwasher , cooker, fridge with icebox . Kettle and coffee maker . We washed our clothes every day and came home with nothing dirty except our travel home clothes . We had a room overlooking the pool , probably the best side of the hotel. The sun came in the late afternoon on our huge balcony . Two good supermarkets within easy reach . Super sol and Meradona. Massive choice . We self catered with just a few meals out . The beach is beautifully clean and the sea safe . The old town is busy and great for people watching . The cleanliness and staff at the hotel were all excellent . The pool is emptied every night and refilled so it is pristinely clean. There isn't a huge area around the pool and the sun doesn't come round until late morning but the doors are not open until 10 am which I loved as I didn't have to reserve seats . Would definitely re visit .

We usually go AirBnB but a few hospital visits over last year meant we wanted the extra help that a hotel might offer us if we needed it. the Monarque Sultan was perfect for us. We had a good sized suite with large bedroom, plenty of cup board space, good sized bathroom with plenty of towels. A small kitchen with kettle, toaster, oven, half sized dishwasher & full sized washing machine. Talking to some other guests I think different rooms have different kitchen equipment so if you need something specific do contact them when booking. nLarge balcony over looking front of hotel. Got sun in morning. Rooms on other side of hotel o overlook pool & garden get sun in the afternoon. We ate in the hotel once and the food was first class, really well presented and very tasty. Great bar. Sauna, massages available but we didn't use. 5-10 minute walk from hotel to the beach. Quieter end of Marbella.

Had a great experience staying here. Staff were so helpful, location was perfect. Manager when we arrived insisted we contact him if we had any issues with the room as they were upgrading the lifts and he thought noise may be an issue but everything was fine.

Lovely stay (we were a couple with 3y old son and my mother). We stayed in a 1 bedroom app, our kid slept in our room, my mother on sleeping couch, not ideal but it worked out. Room was very clean, bit “old style” but who cares when you are outside most of the time? Big balcony with view on the pool (we were on the 3rd floor). We did breakfast 2x (and ate at our app other days) and it was good, 1x evening dinner which was also good. A lot of shops and resto’s nearby, parking under hotel (€20/d), sea just 5min walk. Only pity was that bathroom (with toilet) was only availble through our room (so at night not perfect for my mother).
