The place has views to die for, the rooms are clean and cosy, the staff is very friendly, especially George the manager... Food is fresh and nicely prepared. They are very thoughtful and give their best... Had a wonderful Christmas. Definitely will go back ..

Located nearby to a village in the Maasai Mara, it took a journey of smaller dirt roads to get to. The room and bathroom ware very spacious, clean, and had so many outlets to charge electronics. However, it is no luxury and we could have used a bit more lit in the rooms, although it wasn’t terrible. Our first night, we walked out to go to dinner and I was mesmerized by all the stars. They were so bright and beautiful. Highly suggest downloading an app to view the constellations. There were only two other couples there at the same time so dinner was very quiet. Food was good and checked all the boxes. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. All in all, it was a great stay!

Thank you George and team for a wonderful stay at Orngatuny Mara King Camp. My boyfriend and I were treated like family here, and we couldn't have asked for better hosts. The food was comforting and so delicious. Everyone was genuinely so nice and caring. I loved listening to the birds in the morning. The accommodation was clean and safe. Thank you so much!

Pros:Nice place in the bush. The rooms were nice. Con: When we visited we were the only guests which was okay but the facility manager did not give us privacy for a second. We couldn’t even sit down alone without him joining us and striking small talk which we found uncomfortable. He even followed us to the pool when we went for a swim. We found that creepy. PS.. We were just ladies and the facility manager is a man.

We had a comfortable stay at the camp. Excellent budget-level accommodation about 2km from the Oloolaimutia gate of the Maasai Mara. Unfortunately the road is seriously damaged by erosion, which means you have to have a 4x4 to get there. Willy and his team were very welcoming and accommodating. Anything we bought to their attention they quickly amended or at least made a great effort to. The service was impeccable and we felt very well taken care of. The food was generous and served in a buffet-style with enough options for everyone’s taste. As it is a new camp we have a few small suggestions for the team that we hope will help. The camp lacked a comfortable place to relax at the end of the day - a lounge or bar would have been most welcomed to enjoy the stunning view. On that note, I would have appreciated a slightly wider selection of drinks perhaps some wine or ciders. We would have loved a bedside lamp so that the bedroom wasn’t so brightly lit at night. We also found it unprofessional for staff to take personal phone calls at the fire in the evenings while we were there. The fire pit is such a great place to spend time at in the evenings, however we felt uncomfortable to relax there for too long because of this. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Reservamos un safari con alojamiento económico y nos sorprendió gratamente este pequeño campamento . Cabañitas muy limpias y confortables, ducha con agua caliente, wifi. Personal superamable, nos hicieron sentir como en casa.
