Los Altos Resort

We had the most wonderful time at Los Altos Resort! The facilities from the rooms to the restaurant were great, and the staff were outstanding! The room, one of the town houses, was amazing. We loved the views and privacy it offered. Andrey and Christian took excellent care of us during our stay, anticipating our needs, checking in on us, and ensuring we had a relaxing time. They were just wonderful! Overall, our stay far exceeded our expectations. We greatly appreciated our time there and look forward to returning soon!

The resort had amazing views of Manuel Antonio. I stayed in the duplex with pool which was very spacious and clean. There is a tiny beach accessible by a buggy, but not the type you'd be able to sit and sunbathe on. It was very rocky. The initial service from staff was good. The service from my host was a bit sketchy. I asked him if he could book me a table at a specific restaurant, he then said that he'd just been there and they were fully booked so recommended I tried elsewhere. He wasn't aware that I was only 15 mins away from the restaurant so I got a taxi and just walked in. There were plenty of tables available, I didn't even have to wait. There was also an occasion where I was by the beach at sunset time and needed a taxi back to the resort. I messaged the reception and host to see if they could send a taxi down to me (10mins from the resort). They did not reply until 2 hours later. I ended up finding a taxi on the beach strip after walking up and down for ages while it was getting dark. The service from the host and reception team could be better in terms of communication. Staff by the pool and restaurants were extremely welcoming and provided exceptional service. I enjoyed my stay here, however I would pick a different resort on my next visit to Manuel Antonio.

We had an amazing family vacation at Los Altos. Our garden suite was nearly 2600sq ft with well appointed furnishings and amenities. The staff attention to detail is unprecedented. The front desk staff including Sebastian, Gustavo and others made our entire family feel welcome and appreciated. For example, I wanted to take the bus into Quepos and back from Espadilla beach (not a taxi) and Sebastian “walked me through the process”. I needed this since I do not speak Spanish. He made sure I had the correct amounts of colones etc. This is just one example of many instances where the staff went above and beyond for our family. Our son celebrated his birthday during our trip and unbeknownst to us, a personalized birthday cake was delivered to our suite in celebration. What a nice touch. The LOCATION CAN’T BE BEAT! The resort is manned 24/7 with gated security. Immediately out of the resort are countless restaurants and cafes, tourist shops, ice cream shop, super market, ATM and bus stop directly in front of the resort all of which you can safely walk to. All of these locations I describe are ＜ 5 minutes walk from your room on the resort….it couldn’t be a better location!! This is highly unusual to have this much accessibility in Manuel Antonio. We had many excursions arranged prior to our arrival but once again the front staff helped us arrange additional activities and provided us recommendations on dining options as well. The pool has breathtaking views and wonderful service from the poolside bar and cafe. You’ll likely see monkeys, iguanas and agoutis on property during your stay which was delightful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND LOS ALTOS. 5 out of 5 STARS!

Los Altos is teuly a luxery hotel and experience. As a diamond mwmber we were upgraded to a higher level room. The room was huge (actually cavernous), with stunning ocean views. The service was outstanding. Christian at the front desk, Ines at the restaurant, every member of the team was lovely. Breakfast was extraordinaary and so freah and delicious. The infinity pool is beyond beautiful with cabanas you would expect to pqy hundreds extra for included in the price. I highly recommend the complimentary yoga classes with Carrie on a speciql platform overlookng the ocean. There were awesome nature trails and we saw sloth, parrots, monkeys and so many other animals right on property. The beach is rugged, wild and beautiful. The attendant providwd chairs, towels, drinks, and went out of his way to point out a mama and baby sloth and monkeys! This hotel is really amazing. I would gibe 10 stars if I could!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Los Altos resort! After our very long 12 hour trip Sebastian welcomed us with a cold essential oil towel and we were able to wait comfortably on a couch in their stunning lobby with a waterfall. The way they do their check in was something I never experienced in any other hotel. We knew they were going to take good care of us the minute we sat on that sofa. The hotel is so beautiful and peaceful! We loved the swimming pool area where we had the view of the Pacific Ocean and got many surprise visitors like Toucans, sloths, and the cutest monkeys! Also, they have the best cocktails and service ever! Another wonderful treat is that they have their own private beach, and a first class Holistic Spa! I have been to many spas world wide and this one is unmatched! There are gardens and many great tours available for the whole family! Sebastian and Andrey, My kids and I loved this hotel so much and this will definitely be our hotel next time we come to Manuel Antonio! I’ll never forget how you took care of our family. This is the first time traveling as a single mother. GRACIAS!! Pura Vida!

The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was a panoramic suite with awesome ocean views. The on-site restaurants, both poolside and sit down, were excellent. The hotel is very clean and in a great location. Would highly recommend.
