Red Roof Plus+ Boston - Mansfield/ Foxboro

The location was absolutely perfect plus it was a huge win by being able to take a car service to and from the hotel so I didn't get lost since I'm not from the area. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were very very clean which made me a very happy satisfied customer.

Our accessible room was fully accessible in every way. Very clean, good A/C, comfy bed, fridge, micro, good TV. Very good coffee in lobby at 5:00 AM. Plenty of ice. Good value for the expensive Boston area. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for one night whilst going to a gig at the Xfinity centre. As soon as we arrived we knew we’d made a big mistake. The reception staff were absolutely miserable and it seems like there are a lot of people living in the hotel, as there were dogs barking continually on the second floor. The room itself was clean but one bed was broken and it very tired. We had hoped to use the swimming pool but it’s next to the smoking area and in the shade by 3pm. We survived our stay but learnt that exactly a week after there had been an ‘incident’ there… can’t say I was surprised.

This is a poorly managed facility that is in bad need of updating. The entry doors are not automatic and negotiating a luggage rack through the two sets of double doors is difficult, particularly when the staff, in its infinite wisdom, keeps the left outer door locked. There is only one elevator servicing the entire building which makes for long waits. There is only one ice machine in the first floor lobby which services all five floors. Cigarette butts were strewn all around the ground near the entrance. A continuous flowing shower faucet was not repaired in spite of reporting it twice. With one or two exceptions the staff appeared bored and uninterested. Housekeeping came in twice during our five night stay. Used towels were left hanging on hooks and clean towels were piled on the bathroom counter. No actual cleaning was ever done. Unless you are desperate for a place for your dogs, I would avoid this place until they invest in improvements and a better trained staff.

Here's what I liked: Had a nice, clean fridge and a microwave. Beds were clean. Shower was nice. Some big concerns with this place, though. Arrived to find a hair sticking off the face cloth. Coffee was undrinkable. Room was so moist/humid from a/c, it felt wet under the blankets. I suspect the a/c filter hadn't been cleaned recently because my son had an allergy attack. I had to give him Benedril to get through the night. The air conditioning was so loud - and going off and on all night - it kept me up most of the night. The bed was hard; no cushion. Then at 5 or 5:30, people were loud in the mechanical room right next to our room. ROUGH Night.

Hotel was good deal for the value with no frills. Room was comfortable and spacious with working desk, mini fridge, and microwave, albeit with some aspects that need refreshing(such as the bathtub, the low pressure shower head, and the A/C controls). Good location and staff were helpful.

Let ‘em smoke in the rooms, would be the same experience. Great cold shower, went to army/navy game and felt like I was one of the gang. Ready for the second battle of manassas tomorrow, dawn. Need more hard tack and canteen fill up stations to be 5 stars

Went to Boston this Labor Day weekend and we started our planning on Friday to go to Boston from Sat-Mon. Checked hotels and prices were over the roof. Red Roof prices were decent but reading the reviews, i wasn't sure about what we will get. We booked it, thinking we'll at least have roof over our head but was pleasantly surprised. Hotel is like 30-35 min ride from Downtown Boston and very clean. Check-in was quick, hallway was clean and our room was nice. I was pleasantly surprised by my overall experience. No disturbance at all for 2 nights, room was made everyday. Swimming room was operational so that was plus. They dont have breakfast but has Tea/Coffee from 6-10am. Will stay again if i ever go to Boston in future.

The check in was very easy ,room seemed clean but has a funky odor bed was ok,pillows were ok ,still has old style wall mounted air conditioner heating unit.The pool had a cloudy appearance ,I had to skim hair and other particles out of pool .The hall ways have popcorn and other debris on floor.for the location is easy off 95 to access .
