I paid in advance and after checking in and hearing there would be a 100$ deposit hold on my credit card, a couple hours later I see they charged me 219$.I called them and they said they didn’t know why this happened and they reversed the charge. Dirty walls. Uncomfortable bed. No artwork on the walls. TINY bathroom. Smoke alarm went out and they said they’d put a new battery in it and never did after being told about it at about 9am. Door to room was not numbered, had trouble finding it. Old paint not covered up with new paint on the doors. Outdated, uneven flooring. Fridge was very cold which is about the only positive they had. Breakfast was average. Not impressed. Was never going to stay here again after the last stay was similar but then saw they had a new owner in econo lodge and somehow the experience was worse. NEVER staying again. For what we paid, well over 100$ a night for a Thursday and Friday night l, not worth it at all.

My husband and I were booked for 4 nights. When we arrived we were told there was no elevator and no luggage carts. They did offer a first floor room. However, we explained that we both have heart issues and lots of luggage. The walk to the room included 2 sections of hallway on quite an incline and then a long walk to the room. We explained that we would not be able to carry all of our things that far. There is no mention on any info that I read about the facility not having an elevator. There was no offer to assist with luggage. The lobby and hallways were not air conditioned. There was a slight funky smell throughout. We did not go near the pool. But, from a distance had quite the green look to it. We could not physically stay there. They would not waive the one night fee that was charged to our card. The cancelation policy requires 24 hour notice. This is not a good location for anyone with any health issues that would make it difficult to get luggage to a room.

Fishing nearby…
Place was surprisingly comfortable. I have stayed there in the past. It’s a bit dated but served my purpose well. Hot tub and pool was in working order. Light breakfast eggs & sausage was available.

No information on what T V stations were available. No chairs to sit on. No Internet for the cell phones. Was able to use internet for the laptop.

If you have ANY expectations at all - do not stay here. This was by far one of the worst hotels I've stayed at on the West side of the state. My room was on the 2nd floor. The hallway smelled horrible on my way to my room and once I entered it there was mold in the tub, the grout in the tile floor was supposed to be tan, but majority of it was black, the view out the only window was of a

Blood stains on side of bed, mold in shower, construction and music at 6 am outside our window. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and it’s not even close.
Pretty sure they operate under two names too, Econo branded and then another for “under the table” rooms.
Do not stay here.

The room was dirty the screen sliding door would not lock or latch there was visible dirt on walls and dust in on the closet surfaces and bugs on the ceiling bathtub was terribly slippery from the water softening of the water

Everything was as expected. The room was clean and quiet. The complementary breakfast was good. Eggs, sausage, waffles, toast, muffins, cereal and fresh coffee. Nice view of the lake and USS city of Milwaukee. Building could use a facelift and the grounds could use some sprucing up. Otherwise perfectly reasonable for the price, my only complaint is the pool had a greenish tinge to the water but I never actually went into the room so it could have just been the lighting.
