Condition of the rooms is good, the outside pool could use a bit of a clean up, damaged decking to the rear and pool needs a clean. It's quite pricey for what you get. What really let this place down from our experience was the hotel management (staff on the day were great). Two of the rooms on the second floor had no hot water and the room on the top floor had no running water whatsoever. They did explain that this was an area issue and was not their fault. Whilst I appreciate things can happen beyond your control, we paid for a service that they were unable to provide. Hotel rooms at bear minimum should have hot running water. They refused to refund any part of the rooms that were affected (even though they said they would when we checked out). Its a shame because the building is lovely but the inability to take any responsibility is shocking!

Hotel is very overpriced for the quality we received. Had no running water in one of the rooms and in the other room the water pressure was awful with cold water. Explained this to management who to be honest didn’t care and blamed it on the local area. The swimming pool was filthy and hadn’t been cleaned and the gardens were full of flies and mosquitos. Overall I would not recommend this hotel. There are some excellent hotels nearby which are in fact better value for your money!

A lovely week exploring Puglia made all the more enjoyable by staying in this lovely tasteful Palazzo where we were made to feel so welcome. Everybody warm and friendly, excellent customer service, relaxing and very comfortable in our lovely first floor suite. Would love to return one day. A destination hotel - go to Manduria while in Puglia, to stay in Palazzo Donna Elisabetta. The palace is stunningly beautiful- it has been restored with incredible taste and attention to detail. Thank you to the wonderful Donna Elisabetta, Loredana and Anita for making us feel so welcome. We hope to come back soon.

Wonderful homely Palazzo in Manduria, stunning murals decorating the walls and ceilings, very convenient central location with secure off street parking and the only hotel with lush Green gardens and space. Very friendly staff willing to help and it is owned and run by Donna Elisabetta herself. Delicious modest breakfast and very well designed pool area in the gardens. Rooms are spacious with high ceilings although lack the appointed finesse of a 5* hotel (e.g. no full length mirror or internal telephone) but that doesn’t detract at all from the stay. Highly recommended for the experience in this area.

Beautifully restored palazzo and garden from the 1700’s, each suite outdoes the other. Elisabetta and Paolo are the most gracious hosts and have brought positive energy to this beautiful historic palazzo in the historic center of Manduria. Outside garden and pool area are magical. Not to be missed the wonderful breakfast with local products including best burrata, mozzarella and ricotta. Liked the local specialties in a nearby Trattoria Messapica,

This place is amazing, beautifully restored building with peaceful surroundings, it is a hidden gem, the staff are so friendly and attentive, we stayed here just before our wedding and we could not have picked a better place to relax, highly recommend for a unique and incredible experience.

Simply incredible! If you are looking to totally relax in paradise this is the place for you. One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed in. We stayed in the Colonial suite - highly recommend. The ground are so peaceful and beautifully landscaped. The swimming pool is paradise, but it is the staff that truly make this a memorable experience. They go above and beyond to make your stay special. Elisabetta the owner booked us a massage in the middle of the garden amongst the trees - an experience I will never forget. The breakfast is outstanding. The perfect place to come stay to escape and relax, we will definitely be back.

Il pregio di poter essere accolti da chi fa dell’accoglienza e del servizio di alta qualità una ragion d’essere.
