Tan-N-Sand

We did not stay at the hotel but had dinner at their SoHigh restaurant as they a Goan menu in addition to the regular one. There is large covered terrace overlooking the sea, but on this occasion we preferred the air conditioned restaurant. We had a fairly simple meal of Goan dhal, jeera rice and vegetable xacuti. Everything was beautifully cooked and flavoured, and portions were reasonably large, so this was more than enough for two people. The fresh lime soda was also prepared exactly as requested. Our main waiter was helpful but at times distracted, maybe there weren’t quite enough staff around. Although the food was excellent, prices were a little steep: the xacuti was INR575 and a glass of fresh lime soda INR100. Our total bill was INR1830 before tip. All in all a nice place for a meal or drinks. Please note, the staircase to and from the beach (if you come from another hotel ***** the beach) is very, very steep and not very secure. If you fall down you can easily sustain an injury, so be careful.

Property is in remote area. Over charged. Everything is far from goa. Overcharged by tax drivers for airport and other access from this location

this was second time in this property, the property has become a disaster, the staff has forgetton the meaning of hospitality and they dont even value a returning customer. the food is not what it used and likewise the staff.

Rooms were spacious with well maintenance. We had opted for a private jacuzzi room but it was dirty. After calling multiple times they didn’t come to clean it. Breakfast spread average

Service is too slow. Overall experience is poor. Food quality is poor, ac was not working we waited 4 hours for a repair. Valet was requested ten times to move our car which was parked behind 4 cars at time of checkout. Not at all worth staying for the amount of charge you pay to then for a stay.

Property is worth staying. The ambience is good. Food is ok. It is on morjim beach and you can have a sea view from few rooms. Worth staying
