I stayed at the Ibis on Portland Street in central Manchester (not to be confused with the Ibis Styles further down the road). The staff were friendly and allowed me to check in early, which was a nice touch. Although I didn't spend much time in the room as I was out exploring, it was a good place to rest. The room was clean, with tea and coffee provided, and the shower had excellent water pressure and stayed hot. The Wi-Fi worked well, though the air conditioning had analogue controls, which felt outdated and a bit unclear to use. Breakfast was included in the stay, but I didn’t have the chance to try it as favoured my beauty sleep. There was some noise from footsteps in the corridor and the room above, but overall, it was a decent stay. The room was quite similar to the one I stayed at in London Greenwich.

There was a room available so they allowed us to check in early. When I forgot my water bottle, a staff was nice enough to get it Gir me though we had already checked out. The room was small but compact and provided ample supply of tea and coffee options.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff great and location perfect. A tad overpriced but I will stay here next time

Superb location. Walking distance to Chinatown, train station, and numerous shops (primark, boots, uniqlo etc.)

Really lovely stay, very clean, nice sized room. Good location but not as central as we first thought. Comfy bed and all facilities worked fine. The in hotel bar is quite pricey for food however.

The location is nice near cbd and Chinatown, buses everywhere, just room a bit small, and the facilities are limited but worth the price

Great overall, que good ration price/quality/location. Having to go outside and walk to another hotel to have breakfast was the only thing I didn't like about our stay as it was raining some days.
