I recently stayed at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate, located in the iconic Beetham Tower, and overall, my experience was memorable for many reasons. From the moment you step through the revolving doors of this striking glass skyscraper, you’re met with a sense of modern grandeur that sets the tone for the entire stay. Location & First Impressions The location is absolutely superb — right on Deansgate, within walking distance of the best that Manchester has to offer, including the Arndale shopping centre, the Spinningfields business district, and the bustling nightlife of the Northern Quarter. Public transport connections are excellent, with Deansgate station just steps away. On arrival, the reception area made a strong impression. High ceilings, clean lines, and sophisticated decor give it a contemporary and stylish feel. Check-in was smooth, efficient, and handled with professionalism. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel welcome right away, even though the lobby was quite busy. Rooms & Comfort My room was on one of the higher floors, offering truly stunning views of the Manchester skyline through floor-to-ceiling windows — easily one of the standout features of this hotel. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, with crisp linens and plush pillows that made it hard to get up in the morning. The room was equipped with everything you would expect from a four-star Hilton property: a large TV, iron and ironing board, mini-fridge, safe, and a decent workspace with good lighting for business travelers. The bathroom was clean, modern, and stocked with quality toiletries, although the water pressure in the shower could have been slightly stronger. Overall, the cleanliness was impeccable throughout my stay. Facilities & Amenities The facilities are where the Hilton Manchester Deansgate really shines. The health club and spa are a big bonus, with a good-sized swimming pool and a well-equipped gym. I particularly appreciated the sauna and steam room after a long day exploring the city. Location might be handy if you are physically able to walk about in the city centre, I have MS and walking can be difficult at the best of times, not the fault of the hotel but my booking was made during a period of severe weather conditions and the hotel staff checked me in immediately, four hours before their usual time and were very helpful, polite and friendly.

Good facilities Great view Breakfast was ok, but lots of stuff is fried

The location of the hotel is amazing, walking distance to all the attractions of the city centre and tram station. The room is clean. I'll choose this hotel again.

Great place but noise from possible air conditioning made all night and kept me awake

Hotel is excellent room and views are lovely. Location is excellent and majority of staff were nice. Only a few issues they give and charge you for doubles in the bar when the menu only gives single prices. The response from the barmaid was you never specified a single when that should be as standard. Also take 50 pound a night for cover in case you spend in the hotel but only refunded 97.60 for the 2 nights. Although we didn’t spend anything on the room. The hotel is super but just those 2 things took the shine of a really great stay.

I only stayed 1 night so it didnt bother me too much but i noticed the flow of water on the shower was very slow and because manchester is so cold i was hoping for a nice hot shower but the temp was just above warm. There was no slippers like most asia hotels and also no bathrobes or any bathroom amenities. Also, when i checked in the lady just gave me the key card and did not really automatically explain to me any of the hotel or room facilities....it didnt feel that welcome compared to the numerous 4 and 5 star hotels i've stayed at in Asia.

Excellent hotel and I really appreciated the lovely room. Swimming pool a nice bonus. Definitely would stay again.
