Margaritaville Vacation Club - Rio Mar

My mom and I just got back from out 2nd trip to Margaritaville at Rio Grande and it was amazing. The views are amazing. The beach is beautiful and there's miles of it. The staff were amazing throughout the resort. Zandra was so helpful and amazing and made our stay even more spectacular. I'd like to say thanks again to Angela and Dalismar for helping me with my phone crisis after I'd already checked out. I might not have made it on my flight home without their help. Can't wait to go back!

Clean resort, visited during low season which was wonderful. No difficulties getting pool chairs or fighting the crowds. Surprised that there was no view of the ocean while at the pool. Best staff was the activities person Joel. Played games with guests and was always friendly when we saw him. He ROCKED! Other staff not as friendly in our opinion. Maybe they were bored? Area restaurants have shuttle service to pick you up for dinner and meals. We had a car, driving was easy. All area restaurants are priced the same as Margaritaville. Thankful to finally make it to the island👏

Margaritaville Vacation Club At Wyndham Rio Mar is a resort in Puerto Rico with many amazing features. This hotel has award winning facilities that complement the vibe of the tropical environment where it is situated. Features like a public fireplace, a lazy river pool, and a handful of tiki bars are only some of the great things to enjoy in this hotel. This resort is right next to the beach, so be ready to take a swim! Getting to the beach very accessible, and complements like public showers and water fountains to clean off the sand make the experience even more enjoyable. Within the hotel there is a variety of kiosks and specialized restaurants that offer a fine dinning experience. Making reservations on the front desk is a very smooth process. The overall service of the hotel is good. I didn't have any problems with employees and there is many around to answer your questions. But, i have a timeshare with Wyndham hotels and are currently a gold member. With this level i have received some VIP services that i dint get in Margaritaville. Overall it is a great hotel with many things to do within the hotel, and the areas that surround it.

Stay away from the pool manager, he is rude to employees and customers. He treated me like I worked for him, he likes to “hang” in the restaurant. Very argumentative and rude!!!! Casino and restaurant are great. Not soap, no hot water, No housekeeping for a whole week!

Daniel- Amazing stay very accommodating. Went on a kayak excursion with the explorers club, Bianca was my tour guide and she was super knowledgeable, sweet and a blast to be with. She was my tour guide for 3 hours up stream and for 3 hours she was my peace. Thanks so much Bianca I definitely won’t forget this trip.

Joel from the beach crew was awesome he also made our beach experience. Overall everyone were awesome. I highly recommend this place. We return every year because of the great service and the true kindness!!

Margaritaville Vacation Club at Wyndham Rio Mar is a great place to spend a vacation in the Caribbean by the beach. Palio's restaurant is an amazing culinary Italian experience of a 3 or 4-course meal; its hostess escorted us to our table with a smile and our waiter Nabil did a stupendous job serving our table. Roots restaurant has a wonderful breakfast buffet every morning, and also serves American food. Iguana is the local food restaurant at Margaritaville, and their dishes are tasty featuring large portions. The food at Five O'Clock is great and easy to order for taking to the beach or for eating while seated in their outdoor seating. At the beach, we enjoyed service from Joel who set up our beach chairs and umbrellas and did a wonderful job with service at the beach; Jan Michael was our beach attendant on a different day providing great service at the beach also, even took our pictures at our request and did a nice job. The views, rooms, amenities and service at Margaritaville Vacation Club at Wyndham Rio Mar are excellent. Would recommend Margaritaville Vacation Club at Wyndham Rio Marto anyone looking for a fun and relaxing vacation spot.

Our family rented an entire house within the resort property. We were there for a family reunion. The house was amazing. It had seven rooms and eight bathrooms. It even had a cute apartment in the basement where my wife and I stayed and it offered us a nice privacy element. The house had all the bells and whistles including a cute pool and amazing views. The kitchen was huge as well as a the dining area having a 12 seat dining room table with a huge island for more seating space. We had some excellent family cooked meals and this area just provided a nice environment. The house since it is located within the resort also enjoyed the amenities of the hotel such as a gorgeous beach to yourself - literally - and an amazing pool as well as some fine restaurants on the property. I spent some quality time on the beach where literally there was no one close to me or around me. The property is close to several shopping places, the rain forest and close distance to two beautiful islands that every tourist should visit: Culebra (has one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world - Flamenco Beach) and Vieques. I would recommend this resort and check out some of the properties that are on the resort via VRBO or AIRBNB as they offer a little more privacy. This resort is very family friendly and you will truly enjoy the beach, the views and the peace that is experienced in this place.
