Ashbury Bed & Breakfast

Ashbury B&B is situated on the side of the Malvern Hills, meaning you have beautiful views from the windows and on the street.. The beginning of the walk up to the Worcestershire Beacon is very nearby, (although the walk itself up to the peak is gruelling). To get to the centre of the beautiful town of Great Malvern, you walk less than a mile, and it is all fairly flat, and has far reaching views across the rural Severn vale. Great Malvern has lots of good shops and restaurants. We particularly liked the new craft beer bar, the Weavers of Malvern. There is also much to see in the town, the Priory, the Museum etc. Our hosts were incredibly helpful, supplying restaurant recommendations, a welcome cup of tea and homemade lemon drizzle cake, and a delicious breakfast each morning. The bed was wide and comfortable and the bathroom was minimalist and clean. I highly recommend this bed & breakfast, but you will have to plan ahead, they’re always full!

A really elegant and comfortable house that was a pleasure to stay in. Immaculately furnished and decorated fitting its Victorian origin, great array of family and house history photos. Graham and Kath are friendly and welcoming hosts, unobtrusive but they’re if needed. There is a lovely terraced rear garden and parking space at the front. Our room (Red) had extensive views over the countryside and was quiet and comfy. Breakfast, just right, and it’s about 20/25 mins pleasant walk to restaurants in the town. A lovely break on our way home.

Really lovely B&B. Rooms spotless. Quiet and comfortable. Graham and Karen are fabulous hosts. The breakfast is upstairs with a fabulous view - white linen table cloths and a choice of items for a cooked breakfast. Great experience. Highly recommend.

Spent a lovely relaxing three night break at Ashbury B and B overlooking the Malvern Hills. The owners Karen and Graham are very welcoming and cannot do enough for you but are not intrusive. Welcoming homemade cake and tea/coffee on arrival and Karen supplies a really substantial breakfast together with homemade bread and preserves. Try it - you won't be disappointed.

Recently stayed for weekend. What lovely, welcoming, inviting, helpfull hosts. Room very clean, big and lots of hot water for a shower. Quiet and not too far from town, easily walked to. very near to the hills and showground. Lovley breakfast and variety for every need . Home made bread and preserves. parking outside. Wonderful views. Will definatly stay again.

Graham and Karen could not have been more welcoming, a lovely, friendly couple who go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The house is beautiful with a gorgeous garden that can be enjoyed on warmer days. The room (we were in the red room) is pleasantly decorated and a good sizewith plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, ours had a beautiful view across Malvern as far as the eye could see. The shower room is small but comfortable enough for one person at a time - very modern, clean and plenty of hot water, towels,face cloths, toiletries etc. The breakfast menu is extensive and high quality, excellent fruit selection along with cereals, yoghurt, fruit juice etc to start with and a very flexible menu selection of cooked food (Karens bacon and scrambled eggs need a special mention!) along with delicous toasted home made bread. Graham and Karen do not intrude and will not enter your room during your stay, but are extremely accomodating with any requests for more tea/milk/biscuits etc and there is an additional kitchen/boot room facility on the ground floor with a fridge and other utilities available for guest use. The stairs are quite steep and might be difficult for anyone with mobility issues but there is at least one guest room on the ground floor and I noted that they offer alternate breakfast facilities for anyone who can not manage the stairs to the first floor breakfsat room. All in all we had a very pleasant stay and highly recommend this guest home to anyone staying in the area.
