Ich habe für 3 Personen gebuchtFür mich und meine 2 Kinder , leider bekomme ich Studio für 2. In Webseite des Hotels stehet das 🛜 wifi in außer Bereich gratis, das stimmt garnicht es kostet 10 Euro pro Person für 7 Tage. Klimaanlage Kösters extra 9 Euro pro Tag. Am gleichen Tag habe ich gemeldet dass das Zimmer sicher nicht für 3 ist, darum gebeten ein andre Zimmer zu geben dass ich bezahlt habe. Das Personal sagt mir das für 3 Personen ist und sie haben keine andre freie Zimmer. Sie war unfreundlich und nicht hilfsbereit . Das Zimmer hatte 2 Bett 90x 200 und ein klein Sofa , es war nicht richtiges Schlaf Sofa das war ungefähr 70 breit und 160 lang. Sehr schlecht Erfahrung gemacht nie wieder in diese schreckliches Hotel.

I was apprehensive looking at reviews before I travelled about rules against having a good holiday. I was met at reception by Fay - one of the owner family members - and settled into my room with no bother. The apartments and surrounds are spotless and the service from pleasant staff couldn't be any better. Guests had complained in reviews about having to pay for extras when it is standard at most apartments to pay for aircon etc. Wi-fi had to be paid for extra but that wasn't a problem as I paid roaming charges on my mobile when I needed to. Noise was the biggest complaint in reviews but the apartments are so close together that it was acceptable to ask guests to keep noise to a reasonable level after 11pm. Plus the metal stairways made one hell of a noise which really carried, especially at night. There was a rule about not entering each others rooms which I didn't agree with especially the part about being charged an amount of money if you did!! Since I travelled solo I didn't have any problems with any of the rules but you should be aware that the apartments may not suit everyone. It was about a 20 minute walk to the beach which I enjoyed. All in all I could see myself visiting again. The weather btw in early October was very good.

We love staying here 😎 The family who run it make you feel so welcome nothing is too much trouble. Everything is so clean the rooms are lovely .There's a pleasant Bar and pool area with sunbeds.Nice food is available. Happy Days is ideally situated to walk to other Bars and restaurants. We would highly recommend it. The owners and staff there really feel like friends. 😎

If you are booking a room, stay close to the pool area . The Wifi is very bad in other areas . The family work very hard and are helpful. Inflation in Crete has become ridiculous . We had some lovely food In the local restaurant near by = fablous food and lovely people . Go out an explore . Get a bus stop 33 to the City and the airport. €4 + each . € 25 in a taxi . The area is expensive in Malia . See where the locals go . Go to Heraklion, much cheeper . Lots of nice day trips provide by Happy days .

The staff were incredibly rude from the moment we arrived. Their behavior was not only unprofessional but also unacceptable. On multiple occasions, we witnessed staff members lounging around and drinking at the hotel bar during the day, rather than attending to guests' needs. The most distressing incident occurred when we paid for a late check-out, expecting to have the room until the agreed-upon time. However, while we were at dinner, the hotel staff decided to remove our belongings from the room. Not only did they evict our items without permission, but they also handled them in a disrespectful manner, kicking our belongings out of the room. The complete disregard for our personal property was shocking and inexcusable. Our belongs have been kicked by the owner and almost thrown in the pool. On top of this, when we went to collect our deposit we were owed €120, however we were only given €25 back. Completely disgusting

We have just came back from a girls holiday from happy days, before we went we all read the reviews and were very anxious to go. However as much as the reviews do the state the truth, with certain things it’s not as bad as it seems. Yes u have to paid tax air-con etc and a deposit, every where I have traveled to in Greece this is standard procedure. We got our full deposit back at the end of our stay so my judgement is if you treat their rooms with respect they’ll also return it. Same goes with the “security guard” he never said one word to us when coming in late in the morning back to our rooms, just smiled at us. Your own drinks and snacks are only allowed from the bar, but I brought water from a supermarket and never got into any bother. When we had any interaction with the owners we had no problem, they can be passive aggressive but I think this is just how they are, we had no issue with it. Again I feel like if you respect them and their rules, you have nothing to worry about. They even helped us when we needed late check out and provided us a new room to use. I would say the rooms are not the cleanest pre stains on the sheets etc but we took photos of them when we arrived to show it was there before. Bins were changed 2 a week ( I think this is poor as u cannot flush toilet paper down the toilet) but again it’s definitely a budget hotel. The owners are very firm about bringing other people back to the hotel and noise but some guests staying were older couples etc so I feel like that was fair. It’s in a really good location and from our experience the reviews aren’t as bad as they make out but this might’ve been just our experience.
