We went to Malia for our friend group holiday there was 11 of us aged 17-18 and we had an amazing time, the staff were so lovely and helpful. The rooms were clean. The food was amazing!!! we enjoyed our holiday so much and the hotel really aided this. We were told to turn down music around 11ish but that was fine as we were usually heading out then. Couldn't fault the hotel as all.

Although we did not stay at this hotel we did use it's facilities on most day's during our stay due to it being part of a Jet 2 holiday. You may ask why did we come here then, simple really, it was so much better than where we stayed down the road. The Greek people are always nice so both hotels on an equal par. It was the general condition of the grounds/pool and facilities that were that much better. It is well run, clean and up market due to the high standards of the staff and owner. Unfortunately I can't comment on rooms/breakfast/ meals but rest assured, my next holiday to Crete will be spent in this Hotel and we are both looking forward to it. We have just enjoyed an 11 night stay at the Maria Rousse and it was just what the doctor ordered . The complex was so clean and well kept. The room was basic but very comfortable and clean. Pool was excellent and all the staff are super friendly. Hired a car for 7 days and driving in Crete carrys no drama at all. Some nice beeches and the best one was arena beech lovely wide open space and sun beds only 4 euros each. The water nice and shallow and no rocks. You can order food from the comfort of your sunbed..lush. The fish will even give you a nice pedicure for free. The doughnut man at potamus beach..hilarious. what a performance he could sell you sand he was that good. Most chilled I've ever been on holiday

The bed .. and pillows .. the best I've slept on (away from home) The setting .. it is down a very narrow street so I suggest a private transfer as the larger coaches etc drop you off about 100 meters away Everything within walking distance .. Cleanliness .. immaculate .. everywhere Hosts and staff .. perfect .. lovely family atmosphere Don't go here if you are expecting all night parties and entertainment .. strict "quiet rule" after 11pm Can still be noise tho from people at the bar which has pool table and 2 tvs Food and drink all reasonably priced and well cooked. Safety .. most of us had our doors open 24/7 .. security patrolled at night with most entrances closed and locked. My friend left some electrical devices out on the table on our patio .. that were still there in the morning Rooms cleaned bi-daily On top extras .. local tax .. payable in cash On top extras .. safety deposit box and air conditioning We found shower was too small for us and if we bent over our bums kept turning it off 😂😂😂 Personally I would have liked a few more drawers in the room Room and patio area a nice size We were self catering .. 2 ring stove .. kettle & toaster provided .. but only 1 plug .. kitchen area really tiny They do bed and breakfast & 1/2 board Buffet breakfast served in an enclosed restaurant .. evening meal you chose 3 courses off the special 1/2 board menu in the outside restaurant .. personally I think a breakfast choice menu would also be a good idea instead of the buffet style We were by the main pool area .. there is a second pool with rooms around it .. plus some more apartments across the road Nice touch .. book shelves to swop books and corner to leave part used sun tan lotion as well as all the pool floats etc that people left .. we will be returning

Amazing hotel 5 min walk from the Malia strip, not too close that you can hear the noise though. Staff are all so friendly and helpful. Security throughout the night to keep safe and noise down. Clean and spacious rooms. A mix of family, couples, lads/girls holidays. Would definitely return and recommend!

The pool area is great and the bar. However if you get shafted with dodgy air con god help you cause only 1 out of our 3 rooms had decent air con which costs 56 euro, for one room with aircon, safe and the tax it was around 87 euro, for the love of god don’t lose your safe key or that will be another 50 euros which you won’t get back when you actually do find the key, Tony and his torch are on a madness between the quiet time of 11-7am you will get flashed by the torch if your on the balcony and shouted at. The shower genuinely is mad you have to hook it on the wall so be prepared to break your back if you want to wash your hair. Beds are pretty decent but you only get one room key and the air con doesn’t work if you have any balcony doors open to be prepared to start doing parkour over your mates balcony to keep the room cool, hotels well close to the strip tho also no drunk swims after a night out cause the pool shuts from like 9-9am
