房間有點小，但大落地窗還是不錯的，很乾凈，就在湖邊。 沒有停車場可以停在酒店外面，去酒店裡面有一小段路，需要自己搬行李上去。酒店草地上看湖景色不錯。

자차가 없이 접근하기에는 조금 불편합니다. 외국인에게는 대중교통으로 접근하기에 조금 어려운듯합니다. 그 외에는 모든 면에서 훌륭합니다. 경관도 너무 좋았고 프론트데스크 직원들도 친절했습니다. 조식이 좋았고 조식을 서비스해주는 직원도 친절했습니다. 다음에 또 기회가 된다면 여기에서 묵으며 힐링하고 싶습니다.

From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive to every detail. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making us feel right at home.

Nestled on the top of a hill above the promenade the views were amazing. We raised an issue with the shower in our room (102), it was cold both mornings before we'd to leave at 7am. Staff said it should be working if you run the water for a few minutes - it was still freezing. We asked after for a partial refund but they only offered a small discount when we stay next.

The hotel is a fantastic, and unique place to stay in Malgrate just across the lake from Lecco.  The room we had was very comfortable with a large bathroom and views of the trees and garden. The only thing we thought would improve it was more drawers for storage, which the hotel said they were going to look at. The lake can be accessed down steps through the  garden and sister hotel. This hotel also has a roof top bar, restaurants  and spa. It is a pleasant walk, but  not suitable for those of limited mobility. Casa sul Albero has a small pool, with some loungers and the honesty bar is very useful for access to coffees, drinks and snacks. The breakfast was lovely with lots of food options. All of the hotel staff were very helpful, and friendly, especially with advice on how to get to places around the lake. Malgrate has some lovely restaurants, a very short walk from the hotel, just on the lake front and there are other options in Lecco which is about 20 minutes’ walk away. The train station in Lecco gives options to travel along the lake to Varenna  which has a ferry station from which you can access destinations around the lake although the arrangements  at times were  disorganised at the ferry terminal so it paid to be flexible with plans. Varenna itself is a lovely town to explore.

I want to give you an overview in case you are looking at staying here. We came for a family wedding and stayed for a week. The property is a small boutique hotel associated with a larger full service hotel just down the hill. There is not staff onsite 24 hrs a day only from 7am to 11 pm. When you checkin take a picture of your room key card where they give you the wifi password and most importantly the CODE TO GET IN AFTER 11:00pm. The parent Hotel Promessi Sposi does have 24 hr staff if absolutely necessary. As stated Casa Sull' Albero is a small hotel (16 rooms I think). You get a hair dryer in the bathroom and carafe of water is replenished every day. There is only 1 iron for the whole hotel so I ironed all of our clothes for the week on day one so I wasn't scrambling on the day of the wedding. The rooms are small and sparse and beautiful. We had rooms 204 and 205. 205 is the best room in the hotel as it is bigger and has the best views. My kids were quite jealous. They will separate the king bed into two twins for your children for less squabbling but ask before you go because the cleaning staff are gone by 2:00pm and you will have to listen to your kids complain until the next day :) I will include a pic below from our room. The views are amazing. The bathroom is a wet room shower with a combination shampoo/conditioner and also body wash. Ladies, bring your own conditioner because no woman in the history of the world has been okay with a combination shampoo/conditioner, especially in the heat and humidity (you are on a lake after all) of an Italian summer. Casa Sull' Albero has a small pool and as it is July in Italy we were very grateful for it every day. They have an "honesty kitchen" where you can get soft drinks and juices and beer and wine and champagne and fruit and coffee. The price menu is there and it is very reasonable. Lovely to sit by the pool with a glass of Prosecco. No smoking inside but there are ashtrays outside in the huge garden overlooking the lake. I can't overstate the grandeur of the views. The private path to the parent Hotel Promessi Sposi is steep with gravel paths, steps, handrails and lights. It is not for unaccompanied children or the elderly or infirm. If you struggle with mobility you should stay in the Hotel Promessi Sposi instead. They have lovely terraced rooms to accommodate everyone. Like almost every town on Lake Como, Malgrate is built into the side of a cliff which makes it hard to get around if you struggle to walk for any reason. If this is the case, don't even think of going for a day trip to Varenna. Bellano, just one more stop on the train from Lecco, is much flatter, less touristy, has fantastic food and the gorges are stunning. Taxis in Malgrate and Lecco deserve their own mention. There are very few taxis and we had to walk from the train station in Lecco to the hotel after waiting an hour. Ask the front desk staff to book you transport well in advance. This is a boutique hotel where you stay between trees with a very nice view of the lake. I would recommend a lake view suite. Breakfast was a good open buffet. On our last day at the end of the breakfast saw people ordering plates. We were'nt told that we could order. Sleep quality was very good but shower was not because of the shower without door and the toilette was so close to it.

My family and I stayed at Casa Sull’Albero September 2024. It was an extremely wonderful experience extra unordinary staff pleasant , helpful and very nice.

I highly recommend this place, beautiful and great place to stay and great staff. The pool is awesome and also the views.

We booked the hotel almost 2 months in advance. We booked 2 separate rooms. Upon our arrival, there were only 2 staff members at the reception and it was impossible to get the bags up because of how inconvenient their layout is. You have to climb up a set of 7-8 steps, and a rocky road to reach the hotel. After this already draining task the receptionist informed us about how their ACs aren’t working because of a thunderstorm the day prior, and how there isn’t anything he can do about it. If we knew this information a day prior, we wouldn’t have continued our stay in the hotel. The weather outside was 31-34° c and no one could’ve stayed a night without the AC. They gave us 2 rooms that did have AC but the temperature would’ve go below 23/24°c and it was as good as having no AC. The room was also much smaller than mentioned/shown in the pictures. The staff wasn’t helpful and upon a lot of convincing they said that they were able to get 4 of us 1 room at an extension of their hotel about 5-6 minutes away. We argued with them stating 1 room is clearly not enough for 3 adults and 15 year old, and that our booked was for 2 rooms, so it’s their responsibility to accommodate the same. Overall a terrible experience and the hotel had a complete lack of staff. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel to anyone else since the staff lack the basic courtesy to inform their clients about any problems occurring in the hotel which can clearly affect their stay. The extension of the hotel ended up being much better since it was recently renovated, had a better location & most importantly had a working AC which was a must during the summer here at Como.

Beautiful location with spacious, well-appointed rooms. Biggest bathrooms in Italy. In room safe and numerous outlets requiring EU plug. Very friendly and helpful staff. Added security with a locked gate entry. Great big windows and outdoor seating area to enjoy the views. Easy access to the waterfront through the 'backyard' and adjoining hotel. Within walking distance of the Malgrate train station. About 20-25 minute walk into Lecco. The on-site restaurant is a bit different. At the Honest Kitchen you leave a note with what you take and eat 24/7. You can also order some other items from the desk. Breakfast buffet each morning (not included in room rate).

It is the real gem! Prestigious, very nice and special! One of the best hotels I ever been in north Italy. If you are looking for a real break, pure joy and tranquility than don’t hesitate! My only regret is I did not have time to spend more than two nights. Thank you!
