JW Marriott Maldives Kaafu Atoll Island Resort

This was a family vacation for us. The things that attracted us to this resort were 1.) Close proximity to MLE airport. The transfer was easy and seamless. We landed at 9am and were to the resort by 945. The crew got all our luggage and handled everything perfectly. We were able to utilize our time on vacation efficiently and wisely. 2.) New resort. The rooms are great. They are spacious and offer good privacy. You can also get the AC to the temperature of your choice and isnt governed by a shutoff or limited to a certain temp. 3.) Being a Luxury Marriott brand. The Customer service here is as good as anywhere. There is a dedicated WhatsApp line so you can get all your needs handled in a timely fashion. They are happy to make us happy. 4.) The kids club. The kids had good activities to do during the heat of the day. They looked forward to going to the kids club every day. What we loved about the resort 1.) Having a variety of breakfast options. The Juices were a big hit with our family. And having every type of cuisine available was impressive. They also had made to order options which was nice. 2.) The pool was great. The kids loved doing a sunset swim. 3.) They had a free happy hour which was a nice touch on one of the nights. 4.) They would bring around some fresh juices and snacks to try while lounging by the pool. 5.) The kids eat free. That is a nice touch showing they are committed to making this a family destination as well. 6.) Our hostess and waitress CHERRY!!! So friendly, kind, joyful, happy, cheerful. It was contagious! Out housekeeper Haisham did such a great job keeping our room clean and welcoming. Our Bulter Yaamin took care of all our needs in a timely fashion. The workout trainer offered to stretch me after a hard workout. That was a much need stretch and very good one! And they clean up after you too. They wipe down your equipment and put away your weights. Super friendly and nice. 7.) We were able to get both an early check in and late check out. That helped us out a ton.

We reserved shortly after they opened up for bookings, and given that this is a brand new resort with the first guests welcomed at the end of January, we arrived with a certain anticipation of teething issues at the same time as having high expectations. The resort has a more "boutique" feel than some of the other Maldives properties we have stayed at, and this is almost exclusively for the better. Guests can comfortably walk between the different parts of the islands, and staff is fairly quick to become familiar with the guests. A few highlights: - The waterside gym is fantastic, with a special thanks to Madu who helped with stretching after the workout sessions. - Don't miss out on enjoying the sunset at the Nikkei bar. - The meditation classes by the spa were great. They've hired a number of experienced staff members from the established Marriott properties (St Regis, Ritz Carlton) and it shows. The resort has hit the ground running. Warmly recommended.

safe choice when going to the maldives! as a brand new hotel the entire island is top notch, the people are lovely, the rooms are gorgeous and the food is insane. only improvement would be for the food to be ready a little faster (but if you’re in no rush then that won’t bother you ;) only 15min away from the airport, it’s such a convenient hotel.

An Absolutely Fantastic Experience!!! Villa: We stayed in both the Beach Villa and the Ocean Villa. The layout of both was identical, and since this is a newly opened resort, everything was spotless and featured modern interior design. There was no paint smell at all. Dining: The resort has a total of five restaurants, one bakery, and a pool bar. The variety of cuisines is impressive, and the food quality is on par with top-tier luxury hotels. Breakfast was absolutely outstanding! A special mention to Chef Allan Cha, a Korean executive chef, who was incredibly kind and provided a private dining experience unlike anything we’ve had before. Thank you, Chef Allan Cha! Kids Club: Since we traveled with our four-year-old child, the Kids Club was an important factor for us, and it exceeded expectations. The programs were well-structured, the facilities were very clean and comfortable, and the staff was extremely friendly. Service: The resort offers a butler service, which was incredibly helpful in every aspect. A special thanks to Irey, who assisted with our itinerary—she was absolutely perfect! We truly appreciate all her efforts. Others: The swimming pool and fitness center were excellent. As for the underwater environment, since this is a brand-new resort, it might take some time to fully develop.

We just returned from an incredible stay at the JW Marriott Kaafu Atoll, and I'm still pinching myself! This stunning new property exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. Special mention must be made of our exceptional butler, Vishwesh, who took care of every detail to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfection. His thoughtful planning and attentive service made all the difference, and we're forever grateful. We'd also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Ali Yaamin, who went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. His kindness and helpfulness were truly appreciated! The resort itself is breathtakingly beautiful, with crystal-clear waters, pristine beaches, and luxurious villas that epitomize comfort and style. The staff were warm, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile. We celebrated a special milestone during our stay, and Vishwesh worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make it an unforgettable experience. His dedication and passion for delivering exceptional service are truly commendable. It was more like our wish was his command. He was just a message away for everything we need from organising boats, making dinner reservations to giving us insights about Maldives and the property. A special mention is required for the quality and variety of food at this resort. With a wide variety of restaurants and A-la-carte food options, u never get bored of the food.
