We wanted something special for our 10th wedding anniversary and wow we certainly did. Hotel was perfect in every way, lovely owner and friendly staff nothing was to much trouble, it was extremely clean, rooms cleaned every day, bedding and towels changed each day, lovely breakfast, was far better than your normal continental. Stunning views from balcony, definitely worth getting a room with balcony. Central location.Thank-you so much for making our special occasion perfect and making unforgettable beautiful memories.

A lovely comfortable family run hotel in an excellent position in Malcesine. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We were a party of 4 in two rooms, one with a balcony and a view over the square, shops, mountain and church. The other room didn’t have a balcony and looked out over another hotel but was a very decent size, with a lovely bathroom a decent wardrobe and decent drawer space. This room appeared to be the better of the two as the room with the balcony didn’t have as much storage space and had a smaller bathroom. (We can’t say that this applies to all of the rooms with balconies but this one did seem to be smaller than the balcony-less room.) However, it was lovely sitting on the balcony watching the world go by. Towels and bed linen in both rooms were changed regularly during the week we stayed and were beautifully clean & fresh. There was a good choice of food and drinks for breakfast, and a restaurant on site for meals if you didn’t want to venture out during the evening. You had a 10% discount if you ate there too. The pleasant and friendly breakfast-room staff worked non-stop making sure that tables were cleared & the food and drink replenished quickly, and the great staff on duty in the evening worked their socks off too. We had a trip to Venice one day which left early and we were surprised and pleased to find out that the breakfast room opened early especially for the people on the trip. Due to our early morning departure for home on the Wednesday we had to miss breakfast, and were provided with a thoughtful breakfast pack-up to take with us. A lovely touch. We were very sad to leave this lovely hotel and beautiful town on Lake Garda and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Thank you Hotel Alpino staff, each & every one of you.

I booked a very last minute (2 days before travel) 3 night stay here with Jet2. I’m so pleased I did. What a great hotel it is. My arrival was late evening and I was greeted with a very friendly welcome and a detailed explanation of all the important things I needed to know. The location is perfect, about 1 minute walk from the lake. I booked a single room but the room I was given was a double, with a great mountain balcony view. The room was spotless and cleaned every day. My only slight criticism is that the shower, whilst being very hot and powerful, is so small I was banging my elbows all the time. The hotel/room was fairly quiet but I could hear conversations in the nearby rooms, TVs on etc and also some noise from outside at times with the windows closed. As a very light sleeper I did need to resort to my earplugs, although I think most normal people wouldn’t have an issue with noise. I am just very sensitive to it! Breakfast was great, plenty of choice, a few hot options such as scrambled eggs, a continental selection, cereal, fruit and even apple crumble! My departure was very early in the morning but the night before I was given a selection of items to take with me instead of breakfast. Very good and saved buying things at the airport! The 2 days I was there flew by far too quickly and I would definitely like to return soon. A great hotel, lovely staff, brilliant location, clean rooms. If you are thinking of booking, do it!

A fantastic little hotel with a brilliant staff,nothing is too much trouble,the rooms are basic but the cleanliness is way above that,the location is superb and the restaurant is fantastic,the best value I’ve experienced,the owners are so helpful and friendly,would recommend this little gem to anyone going to Malcasene 👍👏👏👏👍mr Schofield👍👏👏👏👍

Had a lovely meal of mixed grill for 2, pork, tasty sausage, chicken and steak and veg - ordered a large portion of chips - this was great value and really tasty - cover charge is included in the price of the meal (bread and breadsticks) and they give you a brandy/limencello at the end of your meal when you pay. It was so good we went back the next night and had steaks which were delicious too. Tiramsui is tasty too. Staff are lovely. Would recommend. Sometimes you might have to queue (sign of a good restaurant) bonus for us was seeing well behaved dogs. Lake Garda is very dog friendly.

We have just returned from your lovely welcoming hotel and can’t thank you enough for making our 2nd stay so very enjoyable.
