We stayed in one of the apartments during a recent trip to Malaga and based off the reviews we decided to book. In terms of the good the room itself was spacious, modern with good facilities and located in the heart of the town itself. The code systems used to access the room was easy to use and effective. The room itself I can’t really fault, it was a comfortable place to be. It also had WiFi and access to a smart tv with access to Netflix and some other streaming apps. As it was in the heart of the city coming out of the apartment you were literally in the centre of restaurants and a short t minute walk to bars and other shops.. if you stay here you will not need a taxi during your stay. Now for the not so nice issues. When we first arrived there was an awful almost burning like smell in the air, I didn’t sleep much the first night as I was worried if this smell was noxious or if there was something burning. I had my 2 young children with me so it was a concern. The next day we messaged the host and was told there had been an ‘incident’ which had caused the smell but everything was fine and safe. The business who own this apartment said in their description of the apartments that they had a service desk on the first floor ( we stayed in the 3rd) , so later on the second day I went down to the foot floor to see the desk as we intended to leave out luggage their on our final day as we had a later flight. As I got out of the lift I soon realised what the incident had been. There had been a serious fire on the first floor, the entire floor was covered in black soot and debris and smelt intensely of the smell we had first encountered on our first night. It was literally like a movie scene with black ash and soot covering the doors and ceiling it was a very nerve racking site to see. I messaged the host who then opened up about the ‘incident’ and told us yes there had been a fire in one of the rooms a week or so earlier . I was really annoyed at this as they didn’t make clear when we booked or gave us any warning that we would be greeted by this awful smell and what the cause was and indeed that the building was safe. We had to ask as we came across the issues. Coming from the UK I’m pretty sure that if that had been in a hotel no one would have been allowed to stay in the floors above or below until the damage and been fully repaired. We had to assume that the room was safe, but how could we confirm this? That was the biggest issues. The second issue was much smaller… as this is a self service apartment, they do give you some good cleaning facilities such as a washing machine, etc etc… but no dustpan or brush or vacuum?? By the 3rd day, especially with having kids the floor was just a mess and we had no effective way of clearing the mess us.. we had to just live in it , which wasn’t nice. My final issue was the noise. We knew the location was in a location that was loud especially at night but many reviews said the double glazed balcon

We could not have asked for a better location to visit the wonderful city of Malaga. Everything was an easy walk with a phlethora of great restaurants, bars, shopping , bakeries, local neighborhood grocery, ect. Our unit was very clean, spacious and well equipped. Staff were helpful and friendly. We loved looking out onto the plaza and being able to see the cathedral, Alcazaba and just taking in all the sights and sounds of the city.

Nice apartment with excellent location! You are in the middle of everything! We stayed for a week and there is a parking nearby if you come by car; Parking Atlantida. Expensive, but very near. There is a big supermarket a few steps away from Plaza Merced and also restaurants on the plaza. Positives: There were two bottles of water for us in the apartment and two coffepods for the machine. A small kit for beeing able to do the dishes. Some negatives: cleaning wasn't great. The blanket on the bed was filthy and left hair underneath on the bed. The pillowcovers needs cleaning. The bathrooms wasn't properly cleaned either. The bed is very hard. It would have been nice to have some cleaningtools to be able to keep the apartment, floors etc clean when you stay for a week.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was very clean and modern. The beds were comfortable and the shower room good. The entrance to the apartments was really nice and getting into the apartment was straightforward with 2 separate codes. We had no complaints

Absolutely brilliant apartment - extremely modern, clean with every amenity required. Kitchen was exceptionally stocked albeit we hardly used anything. 2 showrooms/toilets was perfect as went with my teenage daughter so both had plenty of space to get ready. Location was perfect. Directly above the square for bars and restaurants. Downside of location being so central you could hear road traffic and nearby building works in the morning however the prime location far outweighed the noise. The beach was only a 10/12 minute walk. Balcony was tiny and not enough space to sit on but we didn’t need this. Would definitely return.

Solo la posizione è ottima, anche se è un zona movida. Letto scomodo, non matrimoniale ma due singoli uniti, cuscini piccoli da divano, non per dormire. Bagno che l'acqua calda usciva a tratti. È solo una camera situata in un appartamento con altre due camere, comunque bagno privato. Non c'era nemmeno la spalliera del letto, non è altro che una rete di legno appoggiata al muro. Per me non vale i soldi spesi. Come riscaldamento c'era solo una stufetta elettrica..non c'è condizionatore.Assolutamente sconsigliato.
