1. Let me start with the booking process. As soon as you book, you receive a message through *********** saying, you have to Whatsapp them your full name, for them to send QR code for entry (!!!!!). This is because, their apartment has a COMPLEX entry system, like it is white house or something. So, if you haven't done this, you cannot just enter the place. 2. Then, once you get the QR code, the emperor who manages this places, will send you an order to deposit RM 200 to a Malaysian bank account. (NO Credit card or cash payment, ONLY bank transfer) WHY ISN'T ALL THIS NONSENSE MENTIONED WHEN WE ARE BOOKING THE ROOM???? 3. On top of all this, the emperor manager leaves the key in a mail box and expected us to fetch it ourselves. The only problem is "WE CAN'T FIND OUR KEY THERE at 3.45 pm" while the designated check in time is 3 pm. The thing is, Mr Emperor Ceasar (the manager of this place) very rudely mentioned to us on phone, that they had kept two keys in the same mail box, but the previous customer who was supposed to take only one of the keys, took both the keys and went up. Wow, what an amazing secure system!! After telling us sooo many do's and dont's in their terms and conditions, this is what a property does to us! When we refused to accept this key at 4.30 pm due to security reasons since our room key was with someone else (other than staff) for more than an hour(after the other customer came and handed it over to us) Emperor Ceasar rudely shouts at us on phone and tells us to either take it or leave it (without any refund, if we choose to leave the place). And he also threatens us that he would lodge a police complaint when we mentioned we will lodge appropriate complaint in Booking and Google reviews. We chose to leave the place at 5+ pm and then hunted for other places, having forfeited the booking amount. I would NEVER recommend this Novo 8 residences to anyone.
