Hotel is located in Jonker Street, very convenient to go around Malacca. Room is clean, breakfast is good, recommend.

I loved the hotel’s Peranakan motifs. It made excellent use of common areas with photo-worthy decorations and free movie screenings in the courtyard. Baba House is conveniently located at the heart of Jonker Street. You should visit the nearby Baba and Nyonya Museum and dine at Peranakan Mansion 😋 You should certainly request for rooms with windows and better sound-proofing. Would be good if the hotel could provide a hairdryer and Nespresso coffee machine as advertised in each room.

Good location walking distance to Jonker streets. The rooms are spacious. All staff are friendly and helpful. I will return again! ;)

The hotel location is excellent, easy to go anyway. The atmosphere there also very comfortable. The room is spacious and suitable for families. Just the breakfast choices can be added more option:)

No WiFi at all throughout the day. And no internet connection even use own data. Front desk and said is TM issue. Hair dryer got annoying sound. TV also not functioning due to poor line connection. Call to front desk nobody answering. Not the first time staying in this hotel but it would be the last time.

Love the whole Baba Nyonya vibe of this hotel. It is clean but the rooms are little small. Breakfast variety is good enough. Easy accessible and walking distance to Jonker Street and other historical monuments. Definitely a good place to stay for the weekend :)

I appreciate Sam and Michelle for their quick reply to my email and for ensuring my stay was exceptional. They addressed my special request and delivered outstanding service. The breakfast selection was average. The location is amazing since it's just a short walk to Jonker Street. I have a knee surgery scheduled, and if I can walk to Jonker Street, I believe many others can as well. I will definitely come back again.

This is a hotel that will make your stay perfectly memorable and enjoyable! It has all the elements that bring you close to the local heritage. The hotel management spent 5 years from designing to building it, retaining most of the original heritage while allowing patrons to enjoy all modern facilities. Loving the idea of “daily movie night” - it’s a well thought activity for those who are too tired to travel in evenings. Service crews are mostly friendly, and I enjoy their kind gesture and flexibility. It’s not as costly as the other few top-tiered heritage hotels. I highly recommend this hotel who those who love simplicity yet still hope to feel close to the local heritage.

I love everything about Baba House. Whenever is a Singapore owner, is a plus one for me.

The stay was good. Staff was courteous, amenities were good, location was great. Decent breakfast.

Love the location, less than 5 mins to Jonker street. Lots of restaurant nearby. To our surprise there is a morning local market at the back of the hotel. Sound of bird at poolside is a very good idea, to make the pool area not so boring.

Hotel is nice and clean, staff is helpful and friendly, lal is good except that the line is bad, literally no bar or 1-bar line when in the room but luckily the WiFi is good.
