Asiatic Hotel

I recently spent one night at the Asiatic Hotel in Malacca and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located within short driving distance of key attractions like Jonker Street, A Famosa, and the Stadthuys, making it a good base for sightseeing. The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk staff were friendly and efficient. The room itself was clean, modern, and well-maintained. I appreciated the comfortable bed and the basic amenities provided, including complimentary bottled water, toiletries, and a kettle for making tea or coffee. The Wi-Fi was reliable and fast enough for streaming and work. While the hotel doesn’t have an in-house restaurant, there are several eateries and cafes nearby, and the staff was happy to give recommendations. Parking was easy and free, which is a big plus in Malacca. If I had to mention a downside, the soundproofing could be better — I could occasionally hear hallway noise and other guests. But for a short stay, it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, the Asiatic Hotel offers good value for money and is a solid choice for travelers looking for a comfortable, no-fuss stay in Malacca.

Very clean and hygienic. Very convenient to go out. I will continue to stay here if I come to Malacca.

Good location, good food area, and 3 to 5 min to Jonker Walk.
