Hotel Maritimo

My only complaint about our stay is that we booked and paid for a sea view room but didn't get one. The room 206 didn't have a sea view because of the trees in front of it which completely blocked the view. The view was one of the most important criterias for us so we really felt cheated by the hotel. When I told the reception about this at the start of our stay they didn't react in any way. Would stay again but not in a sea view room.

This was our second holiday at this hotel,the rooms are ery modern with comfy beds and modern bathroom.The rooms are serviced daily, the breakfasts are buffet style with a good selection of fruit, yoghurts, pastries etc and you cn order omelets and other hot breakfast food.We chose the half board option and the evening meals were served outdoors overlooking the sea, great choice and waiterservice.The staff are lovely, as are the waiters, reception staff and the owners.It certainly deserves a four star rating

Lovely clean rooms, friendly and welcoming staff, the food was amazing, definitely believe much better than a 3 star hotel, deserves to be more. We asked for a birthday cake for our sister and the owner of the hotel went out of her way to find a recipe for an English birthday cake and made this herself. ❤️ perfect central base for visiting other areas. Definitely coming back xx

I can't praise this wonderful hotel enough. This was our 40th wedding anniversary gift to ourselves. We were made to feel so welcome and friends with many of the staff in such a short period of time. Everything was just fantastic from the location, the hotel rooms and amenities to the beach literally 40 meters from the front of the hotel across a promenade that runs from Makarska harbour some 2 km out along the front of the shoreline. I booked with Jet2 as a package holiday for 9 nights and I must say that the experience was almost perfect. Great flight times including the coach transfer from Split airport to the hotel approximately 1 1/2 hours. For a 1st time visit to Croatia I wish I had discovered this incredibly beautiful country years ago. The Dalmatian Riviera is a name well deserved and I intend to return next year for 2-3 weeks. I hit the jackpot when i booked this holiday package.

Second time at this hotel and hopefully won’t be the last. Excellent value for money. The breakfast is outstanding, such a vast choice, and good quality. We had several meals in the restaurant. Good prices and lovely food. The room was spacious, clean, tv, air con, safe, mini bar etc. And quiet. No noise from other rooms. The staff are all friendly and professional. Hotel is in a good location. Right on the promenade and across from the beach. The harbour and old town are an easy walk away. All in all, excellent.

Great place. I've stayed several times now. Wonderful food. Lovely staff. Breakfast is like you might get on a cruise ship. Lovely rooms, whether with a sea view or not. In fact, the view to the back, of the mountains is nice too. Away from the centre, so not too noisy. The beach is just across the footpath from the reception.
