Belmore Hotel Maitland

Food was tasty and yum but not hot enough. Staff were friendly but busy, Place was clean however furniture was dated, I like the place enough to come back and give it another go. Got regular sized meals and I wish I had got a bigger meal. Tried the Hefe craft beer 🍺, Very cloudy, worth a try if u like German 🇩🇪 style biers.

Main meal dishes great value for money. Roast of the day, beef burgers, chicken schnitzel burger, chicken Cesar Salad. Good portions. Food quality really good. Staff very friendly and helpful - both restaurant and bar staff. So big ticks on all those things. Disappointed with the portion of Cadbury Flake Cheesecake though - VERY SMALL for the price of $12 for a single serve. Not much bigger than a TimTam really. Also the 'doof doof' background music not really conducive to a relaxing family atmosphere. :( ... Otherwise good overall.

Went to the Belmore late after a few drinks with friends. The RSA Marshall baited one of my friends before he had even had a drink. There was eight of us enjoying a late night drink when he told the same friend that he was lucky to be there after there were no issues for half an hour and him still being on the same beer. We all proceeded to leave the premises only for the same RSA Marshall to then bait our friend again and again on the street in order to cause a scene. Luckily our decent heads prevailed and we walked away without anything occurring. But for the same marshall to follow us and again continuing to bait our friend to start an argument to justify him being there. Very very disappointed. We were visiting the town with our loved ones. Will not return to this venue due to hot headed RSA Marshall.

We had chicken wings to start, nice flavour, very small and overcooked. Both had snittys, crumb was soggy, placed on top of chips (pet hate) which made them soggy too. Salad had little dressing and could tell it was old produce. Overall very ordinary.
