We booked our honeymoon/birthday-trip to this hotel, Carana Beach, from 6-23 November. When we arrived the staff was very welcoming and nice. We stayed in chalet nr.8 with the pool on the deck. The chalet was very nice, really comfortable firm bed, big bathroom and a very nice view, with no insight from other rooms. We got a voucher for two free drinks, a romantic dinner for two and a 20 % off SPA treatment as a gift from the hotel. Also we got a personal driver for one day, who showed us around the island. This was a really nice experience. I do not think they are used to people that stay this long stretch of time, and they came up with ideas and proposals on things for us to do and see. The resturant had a very nice chef named Marcus. He checked up on us and even gave us a rum-tasting with his local infused rum. They serve different set menues some of the days of the week, and buffet the other days. Lots of nice different foods. Breakfast was good also, could maybe change it up a litle bit with different things to put on the bread for example. There are some wear and tear around both room, resturant and pool area - but I would guess this is normal in this type of climate. The pool in the chalet was very nice to have, but it would be perfect with one more step into the water. It was a little high for me with a bad back, but no big issue. All in all I want to recomed this hotel and give the manager Marco and his staff the credit they deserves for running a great place for holiday and relaxation! Marco seems like a good manager and a very nice person that took time out of his day to make sure we had a awesome stay. And also to our cleaner Ponsey - you rock!

This is a fabulous hotel in a stunning location. The rooms are stylish, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and have the most amazing view. The staff are welcoming and so helpful. The food is delicious. If you want a truly relaxing break, I would highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel located on the north of the island. Well designed chalet type accommodation built into the side of the cliff facing the sea. Outstanding quality virtually private beach. Parking for cars. Boutique style hotel. The hotel beach is outstanding.

We stayed two nights (arriving at 2am due to international flights), before heading out to north island. It was a flawless stay. I can’t give it 5 stars since other island in Seychelles have more intimate and luxurious environments. however, it’s the perfect introduction to Seychelles, a nice beach, a great breakfast buffet, a good restaurant, comfortable rooms. I definitely would recommend, particularly for the price.

We had a wonderful stay at carana beach hotel! The staff was fantastic. We were almost alone on the beach and the water was very clear! The chalets are very nice and modern with your own terrace! The food was sooo good! We loved it! Can really recommend this place!

The hotel ,staff , food. room beach location excellent if your staying on mahe , please stay at the carana beach hotel and hire a car. You will find it easy to get to all the beaches and Victoria but the hotel is a real gem.we like to thank everyone there for a wonderful stay pity it was only 5 days
