There needs to be more than five stars for this place. Literally every detail that makes for a comfortable and memorable stay was included. From excellent advance communication to the most delicious food ever (seriously, we’ve had Michelin starred meals and this place deserves one!) to friendly and warm hosting… every possible amenity and anything we could ever have wanted to do pr not do (the pool is delightful). We highly recommend Howie’s HomeStay for a couple looking to getaway and think it would be great for families and groups traveling together too. We will be back!

Howie and Jeri’s home stay is Is the most amazing property we have ever stayed at. While the property itself is probably the most private, well-designed, architecturally significant and overall mind blowing place, the real gems were Howie and Jeri themselves. We felt like we made new friends in Thailand and having coffee and chatting with Howie every morning was so interesting and insightful. It’s difficult to describe the quality of Jeri’s food, if this home was open to the public for dining, it would have three Michelin stars. Her flavors, presentations, the sheer variety of the dishes that we were served every night and the beautiful breakfast with so many delicious tropical fresh fruits was mind blowing. If you’re looking for a superlative experience like none you’ve ever had before, Howie’s Homestay is for you. 10 stars, we will be back.

Howie’s HomeStay provides an unforgettable experience. The exquisite environment, the impeccable services, and most of all, the delicious cuisines. Jerri, the beautiful wife of Howie and talented chief with her stylish and tasty fusion Thai cuisines satisfies picky taste buds. The only worris brought are that we’ll all have to go on diet after going home.

Heaven on Earth! We spent five fabulous days at Howie's Homestay. Everything was perfect, the environment, the garden and the decoration are absolutely beautiful, every detail is designed to make you feel good. Jerri, Howie's wife, cooks exceptionally well and deserves his stars in the "Michelin Guide"! She made us discover many Thai dishes and desserts. The mix of textures and flavours was always amazing and delicious. Howie organised all the activities of our stay and even continued to take us "under his wings" during the rest of our stay in Thailand by giving us his good addresses. In short, a "tailor-made" stay that we will not soon forget !

Howie and Jerri have the most gorgeous property we have ever seen. This is the kind of property that deserves to be featured on the cover of Architectural Digest along with at least a ten page spread inside. The quality of design, workmanship and overall attention to detail is beyond compare. We felt so privileged to be able to stay there for five glorious nights. Initially, we imagined feeling ill at ease as the only guests in such a large property. That was not the case at all. Howie always found the perfect level of making himself available but yet providing us with complete privacy during our stay. Howie would join us briefly during breakfast and dinner to answer any questions we might have and to confirm our plans for the upcoming days. We found his suggestions to be excellent and appreciated his willingness to find a way to make things happen. We were met at the Chiang Mai airport by Addy who along with a van and driver facilitated our various different activities while in Chiang Mai and continuing on to Chiang Rai and ultimately to the airport for our return to Bangkok. We had been told by a friend who had stayed there a year previous to us that it was worth staying there just to eat the amazing food. Therefore, we were anticipating good food but we could never have imagined the meals that Jerri prepared for us during our stay. Each night the table was laden with five scrumptious main course dishes. The quantity of food was staggering but more so was the quality of the dishes. We live in NYC and are accustomed to amazing meals but nothing compared to Jerri’s masterpieces. Her dishes included traditional thai dishes but always with her special signature twist. Our meals were worthy of a multiple Michelin star establishment. Any thoughts we had of not trying everything in front of us were discarded after our first bites. These meals were meant to be relished and lingered over.
