Visited the place with my wife and my brother and bhabhi. The resort spans in a very vast area which is lush green. Gives one. feeling of almost staying in Green forests. Stayed in a studio type room. 1. Rooms: Very spacious room with all the amenities including Kitchen utensils and even utensils cleaning liquid and washing brush. The bedroom was attached with quite a spacious balcony with seating chairs - very very relaxing to sip a coffee there. Beds, bathroom and other things quite neat and clean, except that the daily routine cleaning of the floors is not up to the mark. 2. Dining experience: Reasonably tasty food, but a bit spicy. We visited only one place viz. Coffee lounge that only offers Ala-carte dinner. The choices on the menu were limited. In fact if you are a vegetarian having food at a restaurant outside - famous Paakshala of Bangalore's newly opened branch here - offers very delicious vegetarian delicacies. Going there and coming back even by an auto turns out to be less expensive as compared to having food at the resort with its limited vegetarian choices. The other good South Indian restaurant where we had breakfast a couple of times was Ambika Upahar Udupi Vegetarian Restaurant - the place is very spacious and the taste of the food is too delicious - but the quality of the South Indian food does not match up to that at the Paakshala restaurant. 3. The Activity Happy Hub: This area has numerous options for indulging in various activities/sports etc. Very nice place. Too advantage of the foot fish spa there - reasonable and good experience. My wife and bhabhi indulged in the Zumba fitness dance session. My wife experienced this for the first time. Excellent trainer. They also purchased some garments from the nearby outlet. 4. The resort has two swimming pools but did not take part in any of the sessions there. 5. Personally the most enjoying aspect at this resort were 1: The warmth of the staff everywhere - especially those at the luggage and buggy service desk. Very helpful. 2. As mentioned before the climate and the lush green environment. In the morning could hear very melodious chirping of birds. One such chirp was just like some human playing a flute - perhaps it was Malabar Wood Thrush bird OR Myophonus horsfieldii. 6. About sightseeing, we had three trips viz Day1 to Kauvery Nisargdhama, Golden temple Monastery, Coffee Plantation and Silk Emporium for shopping. Next day's visit was scheduled to Raja Seat Garden, Omkareshwara temple, Abbey falls, Madikeri Fort. We also took a Jeep Safari to Mandalpatti - which was worth. Had to start at 05:15 am in the morning, to a distant place. But the last 5-6 kms of this jeep trip was extremely extremely bumpy with lots of dust coming in. And then the last few steps are by walk up a hill to view beautiful sunrise. IT was very very windy there - so take appropriate wind cheaters for this trip. 7. Our way to Madikeriw was from Managlore Junction railway station to Club Mahindra Madikeri
