The holiday was succesful! The lobby is really atmospheric. Mr Giannis is amanzing if you have any questions he will help you for sure even if your english isnt the best. Ms Emmanela is really kind and helpful. Disco parties is something that everybody should try. My friends and I would recommend this place 100%!!!! I hope we’ll come here again bc everything is exactly as it should be.

The resort is very nice. We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the food all the staff was very friendly especially our evenings are the lobby bar were very pleasant the all inclusive cocktails were very sweet but if you pay for a cocktail it’s gonna be very good thank you Giannis and Emmanuela for recommending me the cucumber royal, although there was only one server he was very friendly thank you Chris and all the lobby bar staff for making us smile

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay the Athina palace. We found the all inclusive good, the rooms were lovely and we had a beautiful sea view from our big balcony. The relax pool was exactly that, so that adults could relax. The relax pool bar staff were lovely. There is a lot of steps and slopes, so this hotel would not suit anyone with mobility issues. Also, the entertainment in the evening was a little disappointing as it seemed to only cater for the French. However, this did not ruin our stay at all. The hotel is not near a town, but you can get a bus into Heraklion for 4 euros return. The private beach is small but stunning and the beach bar is part of the all inclusive. You can hire a speed boat from there for 80 Euros an hour. There are shops and a spa on site too. We would recommend this hotel as it has a lovely, relaxing vibe and it was just what we needed.

This complex is perfect for couples especially , at the top end, no children allowed in the pools, so if you want to relax , it's perfect, brilliant area lower down the cliff for families with children, beautiful position at side of the cliff, staff are so friendly, a lot of French People there, mainly couples again, food is really good, lots of choice. We totally switched off and enjoyed every minute of it. Definitely visit the little private beach, lovely beach bar, small but perfect for a swim , would definitely go back xx

Hotel had some lovely features, and some not so great ones. We booked a promo room not realising it wouldn’t have a balcony but when we arrived we were very happy to find not only a large balcony, but a beautiful sea view! We had been warned the room was unrenovated, but it was enormous and very clean. The bathroom was in major need of an upgrade, though, and had probably the worst shower I’ve come across in a hotel. It didn’t spoil our enjoyment though. Hotel does involve lots of walking, as people have said - we were near the top of the hill but getting to the main building still involved 114 steps! We could’ve walked up the hill, didn’t try that, but I doubt it would have been an easy walk. Buggy service for delivering & collecting luggage was great though. Pools were lovely, and great sun beds, especially by the activity pool. Very little in terms of evening entertainment though & we were asked at the desk the man on the reception seemed to have no idea apart from the disco which doesn’t start till 11pm. Eventually we found that there was music by the relax pools but there could have been more. The only entertainment ‘advertised’ was the Greek dancing on Thursdays which was good. Beach was a steep walk down, which was fine, and the shuttle bus was great for going back up. Beach was small & quite crowded but it was beautiful & surprisingly not noisy. The best feature was the beach bar which is part of the all-inclusive package - nothing not to like there! I think the main disappointment was the dining experience - I like to be all-inclusive & know the food can be a bit ‘hit & miss’ but I think that there could’ve been more variety & even just more if a description of what there was available - I like to know what fish I’m eating!! Lovely fresh bread, though, and the pizza bar does amazing fresh pizzas, but it took us two days to find it! My main irritation was the cutlery - it was very poor quality, and with rooms either pools costing £609 upwards per night, I know I would not be impressed to have spent that much & had that dinnng experience. The Greek Taverna was excellent though (one busy allowed) and the waiting staff at the main restaurant who dealt with the outside section were lovely. All in all a lovely holiday, but it could’ve been that much better with a few tweaks. Like others, I don’t think it’s a 5 star…

The hotel itself is nice enough. Food although not much choice is nice enough. The hotel is located far away from any main village or city. All activities are carried out in French and although that didn’t bother me as I wasn’t keen on engaging it wouldn’t be fun for anyone who doesn’t speak French. One day we were relaxing at the pool overheard an argument between the one of the animoator who came across as extremely rude. People were playing wallyball in the pool. A father and a child ages maybe 8 was playing as well and it worked well as everyone involved seemed to be having fun. The animator appeared of nowhere and demanded that the kid doesn’t play. The kid disappointed got out of the big pool almost in tears. The father asked the animator politely why the kid isn’t allowed to play and explained that they had fun and it was working well for everyone involved: the animator started to argue in a rude and disrespectful way and it all turned into one big argument where eventually yhe animator said the father has to get out of the pool as this is only for the French speaking people. From an observer point of view the animator behaviour was horrible and disrespectful. Additionally, none inclusive for others that didn’t speak French. The hotel really needs to address the animators and the languages activities are being offered in as this honestly makes the holiday unenjoyable.
