Hollin House Hotel anmeldelser

Stayed on 20 June 2025 I chose this place because I was looking for somewhere different to the typical hotels and BnBs during my Europe trip. I was more mobile with a rented car. The photos in the booking website did not do it justice as it gave a “******* castle” vibe but in reality is lovely and bright. In addition, the relatively low price and limited time to book. I am puzzled that it's ratings did not exceed 4 stars as it exceeded my expectations. The staff were warm, kind, and prompt. Breakfast was excellent, with the amazing view from the room, overlooking a meadow with grazing sheep. An added bonus: it’s located along the Grindstone Path, making it a perfect and convenient spot for hiking enthusiasts.

Not a very great experience. They recognised my reservation but refused to acknowledge the payment made on Trip.com. I had to pay again and then fight with trip.com customer care to get it sorted. Lift isn't working so be prepared. Rooms aren't great!

是很有歷史的城堡，後面的房間應該是後期建的，酒店前面的環境很好，一大片草原，還有羊羣，還有個小花園，晚上能看到星星。洗手盆的水龍頭冷熱分開，要不冷嗖嗖，要不燙手，洗澡房的水太小了，小床轉身就會嘎嘎響，當天晚上有活動還是怎麼，凌晨1點有客人很嘈雜的聲音。驚喜的是入住房間給送了一瓶紅酒。 另外跟着導航走的山間小道，還是挺驚險的。
