Much appreciate the help of Sam who was in charge of reception and really make our stay fantastic. Special thanks to Julian, Hotel Manager who is in charge of the whole property. Truly luxury gateway with nice food, fabulous view, super friendly team and only best memories! Will come back again!

The hotel emailed instructions for bus transport which is easy to understand. Apart from bus, they also have parking space. The hotel is located at south part of Macau with a quiet environment and superb view with the beach. The room was a bit old and humid but the amenities was okay. It was weird that there is no shower curtain in our room (which was present in other reviews). The water was splashed all over the toilet floor no matter how careful we were. Beware 1/F room has very small balcony. I guess 2/F are better. The restaurant is cozy and nice. We had dinner with cocktails. Fair price for Portuguese food. Breakfast buffet was fine with enough to choose from. We enjoyed the environment the most. Just a short 20min walk to reach the Lord Stow's Bakery and Cafe. Great Portuguese tarts!

The place is great, the staff was friendly with great service mind. The view from the room is just beautiful

The hotel is clean and beautifully decorated, right beside Cheoc Van Beach in a quiet part of town. Our room was spacious and though the sea view was obstructed by trees, the sound of the waves and birds singing was relaxing enough. The restaurant fare is delicious and the service was excellent. There are beautiful trails within walking distance and a short bus ride away. Coloane Village is also nearby where Lord Stow's bakery offers the best Portuguese egg tarts in town.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. After drop from public bus just walk for 4-5 minutes you will arrive at hotel very convenient. This suitable for whoever wants to clear their minds and enjoys with sounds of beach. The hotel itself also has restaurant no worries for food plus nearby has some good restaurants and cafe. If you take a bus for 5 stops also has coloane market. Which you can enjoy famous snacks and local food of macau.

Breakfast quiet good Room setting accept generally, but some damaged sanitary fitting (Shower rose & head) need to be repaired / replaced. Sea view is excellant

It was such an enjoyable 3 days and 2 nights layover, beautiful beach and stunning sea view right from the room balcony. Love the unique vintage style and relaxing ambience there, so peaceful. It's easily accessible by public bus route 21A, 26A and 15.

I was looking for a getaway to have a quality time all alone surrounded with wild nature only and this is exactly what I needed in Macau. The estate is located on the hill side above the second popular beach in Macau, with zero traffic, so most of the time one may hear birds tweeting and waves beating against the shore, perfect. The sea itself wasn’t the priority for me as I’m realistic and aware of the rather sad water pollution at this part of the South Chinese Sea, that’s why I was more than happy to find an amazing pool right at the door, with not many guests sharing the desire to cool down in the pool I felt it was all mine, and while swimming one can’t help but think what may be better to enjoy pleasant waters being amidst lush green hills. I love the furniture in the room, all in the same style, obviously customized and styled in Mediterranean fashion and so is the room, decorated with blue&white tiles, showcasing the Portugal distinctive artwork. I would just suggest to add some mugs or cups so that the guests could pumper themselves with teas or coffees sitting out in the romantic balcony gazing the skies . Be ready to climb up the hill a little bit to reach the hotel, and if you wish to travel by bus, also need to go upstairs, which may be a little hard if you have suitcases. But the staff also can help you to find a taxi, so it’s not a big problem. The neighborhood is small yet there’s a decent restaurant Gondola, in 5 min walking distance. Huge advantage of the hotel location is its proximity to the popular tourist spot Coloane village and Black Sand Beach, you may walk or take a bus so it’s really close as well as the casino area, just 20 min by bus. Recommend everyone sharing same values!

Room was spacious including toilet. Best part of the hotel was the balcony with beach view. Be wise to request for room from where you can have a sea view because trees on oneside of the hotel block the view. Rest everything was simply perfect from service to food.

We are a couple … elderly The place was beautiful / near the beach with a v nice view/ v secluded and quiet for a peaceful stay. As it was challenging for elderly we forfeit our stay for some where more convenient …. But wld recommend it for young people.
