Lovely location with free shuttle bus to pier/ port. Room is decent and clean, beds are very comfortable. One downside point is the shower took too long to have hot water.

Good location! The room is clean and comfortable. The receptionists are very polite and helpful. The pool and fitness centre are nice. There is sauna rooms too. However the road in front of the hotel entrance is under maintenance, its okay to cross the road.

The location is just alright because it’s walking distance to the place of attractions.
The hotel provides free shuttle buses too.
We didn’t really enjoy the amenities as we checked in late to the hotel. But overall is still ok

Excellent stay with helpful staff. It was a very relaxing trip overall with no fuss. Perfect check in arrangements and all requests were met and arranged as communicated.

I really like this hotel: nice room, delicious breakfast, close to the Ruins of St.Paul's and shopping district.
Also nice staff, always smiling and willing to help you, especially Ryan (hope I wrote your name right 👍), who helped many guests (I saw he helped a nice couple and old lady with their problems ). Also we had a nice chat at the bar, when I ordered the chocolate menu.

This was a very nice stay away from main Casino district (Taipa) in Macau, and we (as a family) loved it. Let me give you few bullets
1. After booking, I send email to hotel, but there was no reply for 48 hours.
2. when enquired through Trip.com, though the booking was with Club Millesime, the first answer was no access to Longue. When enquired again, Longue access was confirmed (sound like they obliged).
3. Reaching Hotel by taxi (from HZMB port) is appx 30 minutes taxi ride (120 HKD) - on reaching hotel, we found they have bus from the port every 30 minuets - details missing on their website.
4. Check-in experience was good, no delay, no unnecessary question.
5. Pleasent surprise was level of English-speaking staff at hotel. we always found someone to talk to and find required information.
6. Club Millesime (Longue - L17) available for food three times a day - Afternoon High tea, Late evening Happy Hours and morning Breakfast. Though the food options are limited (specially for Vegetarian people), we found the place enjoyable.
7. We explored the old city (opposite to hotel) in afternoon, and it was wonderful experience. we went to Fort and Wall and possibly best narrow streets in the world.
8. Rooms were good, comfortable sleep, nice TV options (TV speakers were bad while watching movie).
9. Sofitel is working hard on Environmental stuff, you can see it everywhere in room. No water bottle, no plastic, no loose item for tooth paste, lotion, shampoo, comb etc.
10. Morning breakfast (at L6) was good, good spread and many items were fresh. During holiday period, you may need to way for some time. There were a few vegetarian options for breakfast.
11. Checkout process was very easy.
12. I couldn't experience fitness center, swimming pool and restaurant due to other priorities.

Great value for money in staying here in Sofitel Ponte 16. The location was fantastic, room was very spacious and has a lot of utilities. The hotel lobby and the hotel room was very clean, the staff were friendly especially Jasmine from front desk which helped me a lot in my room upgrade. She didn't even hesitate to help us even for the smallest things. She answered all my questions professionally. Eventhough it is our first time to stay here in Sofitel, our overall experience with my family was really unforgettable. Thank you and keep up the good work. Happy Holidays😊

It is more of a business hotel rather than Macao 5* hotel style. After staying at the Venetian and Studio City, Sofitel was a bit of a let down.
PROs:
- amazing customer service provided by every single member of staff. I did not have any special requests, they were just perfect without me asking for it
- extremely comfortable bed and pillows
- excellent buffet lunch
- nice pool area
CONs:
- the rooms are 4 star, a little sad and outdated
- the bathrooms are 3 star, very old and disappointing. They must be refurbished asap (even just changing the shower glass and bath glass wall to a modern smoky glass to match the basin, changing the lamp heads to something more modern, and make the overall aesthetic dark and moody, and better shower heads would be a quick fix)
- the cleaning standards are not up to par (see photos, not acceptable for a 5* hotel)
