Disappointing Experience at Aquzz Hotel, Maafushi Our stay at Aquzz Hotel in Maafushi was not as enjoyable as we had hoped. Despite our reservation, we were informed upon arrival that the hotel was fully booked, and we were given a rooftop room. Unfortunately, this room lacked basic amenities, was uncomfortably hot, and did not meet our expectations. While the location of the hotel is great and Maafushi itself is beautiful, the lack of preparation and proper arrangements left us quite disappointed. We expected a better level of service and comfort given the reputation of the Maldives as a top-tier travel destination. I hope the management can improve their booking system and ensure that all rooms, regardless of location, are equipped with the necessary amenities to provide a comfortable experience for guests.

I am really satisfied with my stay at Aquzz hotel. The staff was nice and very accommodating. From airport to transfer to hotel they were very responsive on what we are going to do.

Good one, fit for 2 days stay!

My wife and I chose this hotel because it was relatively affordable, and since we only stayed for two nights, we didn’t feel the need to book a higher-end option. We knew we’d only be there to sleep. The room we stayed in (302) was in poor condition and had not been properly cleaned. The bed linens were slightly stained even before use, and the bathroom was dirty, with brown marks on the walls that could have been removed with proper cleaning. There was no refrigerator, and several electrical outlets didn’t work. Wifi in this hotel always stopped working and was not usable. The room was also very noisy, as it was poorly soundproofed. We could hear everything from the neighboring guests, and they could undoubtedly hear us as well. If I were the owner of this hotel, I would be deeply ashamed to hand over a room in such a state to guests. Even at this price, it’s still far too expensive given the condition. If the facilities are not properly maintained, the least that could be done is to adjust the pricing accordingly, which would make the situation somewhat more acceptable. On a positive note, the hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. However, this does not excuse offering hotel rooms to guests in such a poor condition. It’s truly shameful.

Dirty and uncomfortable facilities. I can’t recommend to stay in this hotel

Smell bad due to painting during night even. Connecting door, which i can her other baby crying none stop. Electricity went off during night. Full with mosquito so bring with u something. Location next to Maafushi Prison

Отель отличный, цены по сравнению с другими отелями не космические. Да отель не первой свежести, но все же хороший. А вот сервис просто класс, ребята нам помогали всегда и во всем, еще не в одном отеле обо мне так не заботились. Перечислять очень долго, но они сделали очень многое для нас, даже после того как мы выселились нам предоставили полотенце душ и гель для душа , потом угощали чаем и даже сделали трансфер до речного порта. Хотя мы уже на тот момент выселились из номера. Ребятам за сервис поставил бы даже больше пяти звезд.

很優惠的價錢，不能要求太高。酒店派人在碼頭接送，搬行李上房。房間有異味，但不嚴重，會習慣。房間有一隻蒼蠅。往陽台的門難開。泳池不要有期望。早餐好難食，有些蚊子在食物櫃內。

Lokasi strategis. Staff hotel sangat baik-baik semuanya. Service juga sangat membantu dan loyal terhadap tamu. Riju and friends you are the best. Thank you very much for helping us

Everything was good! room is clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Staff is very friendly.

We recently stayed at Aquzz Hotel Maafushi, and let me tell you, it was a delightful experience. My husband and I were greeted with genuine warmth by the staff, who went out of their way to ensure our comfort. Our room, complete with a balcony, was both elegant and inviting, offering a splendid view of the island. The candlelight dinner on the beach was a throwback to the romantic evenings of yesteryears, with excellent food and a charming atmosphere. The couple's spa treatment was a much-needed indulgence, thoroughly relaxing and well executed. The sunset cruise was a serene journey, reminding us of the simple joys of life. And snorkeling in the clear Maldivian waters was a refreshing adventure, reconnecting us with nature. Aquzz Hotel Maafushi struck a perfect balance between modern luxury and the timeless charm of hospitality. It's an ideal getaway for those who appreciate the finer things in life, coupled with a touch of adventure. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! I deeply regret recounting a disheartening array of issues during our stay at the hotel: Upon arrival, our assigned room was not only in a state of severe disrepair but also shockingly unclean. Despite a room change, persistent problems like a leaking toilet and malfunctioning air conditioning plagued our experience. Maintenance interventions, notably during planned fishing excursions, only heightened our frustration. Things that were mentioned in the folder are not even true, plus they lied about the constitution that was going on above our room, they promised that it will stop in the weekend but never did. Plus what bothered me was that the towels are not fresh and hygiene is far far from the norm. Dinner, scheduled at 20:00, was hindered by our aversion to spicy Indian cuisine, and the sleeping conditions were marred by disruptive noise, slamming doors, and inconsiderate fellow guests. Efforts to engage with the director for resolution were met with disappointment, as our concerns remained unaddressed. Scheduled activities faced setbacks, with delays and cancellations affecting a half-day excursion and a fishing trip due to a broken engine and adverse weather conditions. The subsequent request for a payment totaling 610 USD seemed disproportionate, leading us to cut our stay short after the second day. The half-day trip to Gulhi Island, conducted on an aged and sluggish boat, offered unappealing surroundings with an unpleasant odor. Promised photographs and videos of our experience were not delivered, intensifying our disappointment. Hand-fishing proved unproductive and induced seasickness amid high waves. Despite these challenges, it's important to commend a responsive woman who earnestly sought to rectify our grievances. Additionally, Mr. K's consistent politeness and assistance, especially in facilitating our return from the hotel to the boat, were notable. Unfortunately, despite these positive interactions, our honeymoon experience concluded on an unsatisfactory note, leaving us profoundly disheartened and dissatisfied with the overall quality of our stay.
