Offshore - the Inn Collection Group

Lovely modern hotel in a great location. Rooms were spacious and the bunk beds in our family room were perfect. Bathroom was clean and nicely designed with a lovely shower. We ate in the pub and the food was delicious and the kids meals were good value. Only feedback for review is the lack of seating inside the pub as we came back on the Sunday evening at 8pm and there wasn’t anywhere to sit insidr and relax with a drink. No lounge area other than bar stools at the bar so not ideal when staying with children- we had to walk to the Dalmeny hotel to have a drink and when we came back at 9pm there still weren’t enough seats. I did mention this when we were leaving so hopefully this is taken into consideration. Even some outside heating on the patio would be good! I would revisit this hotel but probably not with children.

Newly refurbished hotel in a great location, being a 10-15 minute walk to the main square and St. Anne’s station. Breakfast is first class with both hot offerings, pastries and toast, with a fresh orange station that is to die for. The staff are the most accommodating and polite that I’ve encountered in a while, absolutely nothing as too much trouble for them. The quality of the bar food which is served throughout the day and evening is of a high quality and piping hot.

Two old hotels completely re-vitalised.. the reception forms part of the bar area which leads directly onto the breakfasting and evening meal area.. although there is no evening entertainment this does not detract from the pub/catering aspect chosen to be the focus in this particular hotel. The staff are both courteous and friendly. One in paticular, Gregg, was both a font of knowledge and very amusing along with being on the go type of character… He in particular but others in general are definitely a great front of house face to this hotel.. The only drawback I could see, especially during summer months, would be the limited parking. However at certain times of the year the immediate side streets are easy to park on, even if awkward during summer months you can always draw on the forecourt, unload, book in then look for a nearby park…. My personal opinion of this hotel has to be a 99% return of great.. the parking being a drawback but surmountable. Would I return ? Absolutely…

So easy to recommend this hotel wholeheartedly! Service was excellent - staff were all (yes, every single one) friendly, courteous, efficient and helpful. Our family room was brilliant - the two girls (ages 8 and ten) loved it - light and airy with plenty of space and the beds and pillows were so comfortable. The meals were clearly home cooked and freshly prepared and lots of room in the convivial bar/restaurant for both evening meal and breakfast. Local buses into Blackpool were disappointing - scarce at one per hour and went all around the houses for 45 minutes. We used taxis after first bus trip. Maybe due to time of year and weekend service. That didn't spoil our time at Offshore and we'll certainly book again if we come back to this area in future. Well Done and Thanks.

I believe this hotel has recently had refurnish, this showed , felt clean and fresh, it is on seafront and just a short walk to centre , we had evening meal and it was really nice , recommend prawn and munkfish curry .breakfast was also very nice lots of choice .. On a negative I was very disappointed with the room we were allocated , we had a large double , fittings decoration and bed of good standard, however little natural light , no view , laundry shoots outside of window , felt very enclosed..,another observation was size of dining room , we stayed out of season so fine but felt that it would not be large enough when hotel was full and possible result in queuing at main times .

Lovely clean room and friendly helpful staff, in a really nice location. The breakfast was excellent, quality products, well presented.

Staff were really helpful and pleasant. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Will go back soon.

Located on the South Promenade, the front at Lytham St Anne’s is the Offshore. Currently the largest in the Inn Collection Group the “Inn” boasts 98 bedrooms. Having stayed at these premises in its former life, the Inn Collection have really reconfigured the whole structure of the building beyond recognition. A large open plan bar joins what was historically the 2 hotels as they were, before being merged into one. Either side of the bar & reaching to the rear is seating area & tables for food etc. with a ground floor balcony stretching across the full width of the Offshore, if the weather is kind, you can enjoy a drink & your meal there, whilst enjoying the view out to sea. As you would expect, there is a very wide selection of drinks to suit all palettes. Nice clean hotel with friendly staff perfectly situated on the sea front with outside seating area overlooking the sea. Lovely bedroom with a large shower unit, room has all the facilities you need such as tea/coffee making with biscuits, ironing board etc. Would definitely stay here again.
