Amazing place and environment! The staff was super friendly and service minded! This is a place you DONT want to miss out on! Well worth the visit! If possible make sure to book the room by the sea where you have your own spa bath! . The surounding is amazing as well! The breakfast was nice, missed some propper fresh bread.. other then that it had it all.

I loved the atmosphere of the place, so nice in every detail! Unfortunately our room was very small and not as charming as the other ones we saw (and is on display on the website). In addition, there was a renovation of the roof ongoing. It would have been suitable to mention this when we booked, and not in an email 2 days before arrival... This was however compensated by the very nice service and attitude by the owner who arranged a beautiful conference room in Gula villan for us. So perfect for our needs and very nicely arranged for us! So all and all, it was a great stay that I can highly recommend. The food and the breakfast buffet was great! Thanks a lot!

Never ever been in a smaller room. A double bed rammed up against a wall is not classed as a double room! Neither of us slept! The bed itself was so uncomfortable, soft & dipped in the middle so we were clinging to the sides to save rolling into the middle! We were given WiFi code but no WiFi reached the room that was around the corner onground floor from the reception. There was only enough room after clearing hotel ‘ornaments’ from room to bring in one case….. my husband had to leave his case in the car! We were booked in for 3 nights but due to not sleeping had to checkout early! So very disapppointed!

If you’ve never visited Lysekil, then I can thoroughly recommend that you do! Although I have to admit that for our 3 days we had marvellous weather. Strandflickornas is a charming hotel, with much old world charm, in a quiet but central location, we liked it. We stayed in a sea cabin, which provides direct access to the sea and a hot tub, we enjoyed both. The website does reference the uneven path to the sea cabins, and I’d reinforce that. Should you be travelling with larger bags, I’d strongly recommend rearranging to take the minimum required for your stay here. I’d advise against for anyone with mobility issues. The bed was comfortable enough, but the room clearly has dual purpose as a conference room, and the bed is foldaway, not quite what you’d expect at this price.

We had a great room with a copper bathtub. The room was very nice. The food in the evening was very nice. The breakfast was ok.

Stayed at this hotel for three days and unfortunately it was one of the worst hotels experience I have ever had. I was unable to sleep in the bed due to the bed and pillow being really uncomfortable, the hotel needs to upgrade them. The walls in the hotel is pretty thin with no noise insulation, if you end up with a neighbor who goes to the bathroom during the nights, that will make a lot of noises in your hotel room which will keep you awake or wake you up if you are lucky enough to get some sleep. The breakfast was basic without a lot of selection. Day 1: Due to condition of the bed and pillows I only managed to get 1 hour of sleep the entire night which was not ideal when you are going to work the next day. Day 2: When I came back to hotel that day, the light in the room was flickering heavily and making the room unbearable to stay in if you required light. Also mentioning that during the entire day nobody had been into the room replacing the used towels. The nice lady in the reception was kind to provide me with another room for the night while they were fixing the light. This room was a lot better with a decent bed and half good pillow where I was able to sleep throughout the night. Day 3: The last night of my stay at this hotel, I was back to the hotel room I had the first night. This night was not better than the first and only managed to get 1.5 hours of sleep this night. I ended up leaving for the airport in Gothenburg during the night as I couldn’t sleep anyway and the facilities at the airport was much better. Apart from not replacing the old towels the only positive thing during my stay was the friendly and helpful staff. For reference I have been staying at a various number of hotels in both Europe and Asia the last 19 weeks and this is by far the worst experience. I usually don’t write ratings good nor bad, but this one definitely deserved one, so that they can improve them self for the future. I myself will not be coming back to this hotel the next time I come to Lysekil.
